Do you want it? I reckon that will cover the postage
-
Worth a look I will check tomorrow

Anyone ever worked out how to remove the glove box door?
-
Will sell for the cost of the postage if anyone wants this, seems a shame to put it in the bin.
-
Still for sale will accept a sensible offer

storage boxes under the front seats and a sunglasses holder between the sun visors, cant remember part numbers but you should find them on here and they are both simple to fit.

What does the performance pack give you?

Mine is on about 72000 and will hit 80000 by it's 4th birthday, I was thinking about keeping it for another year but after it was off the road for 6 weeks while the dealer eventually identified a stretched timing chain I decided it was time to change so it will go in the autumn.
Never burnt any oil though....

leasing there are still some good deals out there for the R, my Fabia is leased and it goes back in November

5 door with DSG i drive in London a lot as well as long distance on motorways so DSG makes a lot more sense than a manual

if you pick up a Columbus unit second hand it has a Sat Nav and takes about 5 minutes to replace the Swing with no extra parts needed
-
yes that does look good, i'm thinking of having the standard 18 inch wheels for a bit of extra comfort and to keep the price of replacement tires (and the car) down anyone had experience of any difference it makes?
-
Has anyone got a golf R in red or yellow? I'm looking at getting one to replace the fabia vrs but not sure which colour to for for.
I like bright colours and still love the green Fabia but I've never actually seen an R in anything but silver black or blue so I don't know what would look best

I put a detachable tow bar on my leased yeti, the lease company said if it doesn't show they weren't worried about it, the only downside was the cost but the tow bar mount bike rack worked brilliantly

You don't often see a car registered before it's built.......

That doesn't surprise me, they seem to think customers are an unnecessary nuisance they can do without........
-
they might have been once but I think stretched chains is a VW problem that has come up with other engines
-
It sounds very similar to the problems I had, it was eventually found to be a stretched timing chain.
I wrote a report about it a few weeks ago on here
-
I had one else in my yeti and it never caused any problems plus I'm over 6 foot.
I also had a loan yeti without one and it wasn't nearly such a nice light feel to the car, I've got an identicalroof in my Alhambra and I think it's worth every penny

CTHE with about 68000 miles haven't had any paperwork though yet it normally takes a couple of weeks

long story this one but I thought I would share it in case anyone else has the same problems.
my problems started December last year with the engine misfiring, soon afterwards I had the ECP light come on and the car go into limp mode, after pulling over on the hard shoulder and restarting the car seemed fine so I carried on only for it to happen again a bit later.
I phone my local dealer who told me not to drive the car and call Skoda Assist I was back at the office by then so I called them and they came and scanned the car and said there was a misfire logged on all 4 cylinders, they cleared the codes ran an ecu update and after road testing the car it all seems fine.
a few days later the problems were back worse than before so I booked it in with my local dealer for them to look at, I went to collect at the end of the day and they said they would have to have it back for a week to check more thoroughly as they couldn't trace the fault, I rebooked for the first week of January as they couldn't load a car for a week until then.
I dropped my car off and left in a very slow CityGo but at least it wouldn't stop on the motorway every hour, I rung them when a week was up to check it was all sorted but they said very sorry we've had a lot if illness and haven't managed to find out much on your car we will let you know how we get on tomorrow, I then started ringing every day to chase them because it seemed they had done pretty much nothing all week, over the next week they changed the fuel filter and not much else and were telling me they were baffled.
at this point I had had enough of the CityGo and was feeling pretty annoyed with the dealer so I rung Skoda UK who said they would contact the dealer to find out what was going on and I also contact the customer service department of the dealers parent company who told the dealer to change the CityGo for a larger car, I was called by the dealer who said they were still working on my car but had a Yeti I could have instead of the CityGo.
over the next 2 weeks they tried various things and finally told me that they were going to change the timing chain as it seemed to have stretched, they did this serviced the car at the same time and fitted new spark plugs at my request and I finally got the car back after 5 weeks.
so in conclusion it seems in addition to its other problems the twin charger can also suffer from timing chain stretch, on the upside my car doesn't use oil and now is as good as new again, and I also didn't pay a penny apart from the service as I had extended the warrantee.

I've been driving a 1.2 yeti on loan for the last 3 weeks while my local dealer try to mend my fabia (another story to be told when I get it back) and I'm quite surprised how well it goes.
