It isn't just the 1.5 DSG's with the wheel spin issue - I have found that our 1.6 TDI Manual spins the wheels easily out of junctions too, much easier than our previous 2.0 TDI Yeti did.

I think the problem is the New SD card - Is it a Skoda Nav card, or one you have bought?

There may be a much quicker and easier way, but I popped my SD card into my PC, then looked in the "maps\00\nds" folder - Open the text file "dbinfo" and scroll to the end of the line - Mine says SystemName="ECE1 2018/19"

Mine is the same! I just assumed it was me! I have a ticket open with Skoda as I can't activate routes from the web portal, which I think is unrelated.

The 20l for £16.99 on Amazon seems a good deal, but it has no spout so would require a funnel. I'm not sure any of our local places have it on the pumps.

Hi, I am going to wire my dashcam up to the fuse box, but want to connect it to a permanently on supply - The camera has a parking monitor that triggers if the car is knocked etc. I have had the camera for 8 months and it powers down within 2 mins of being inactive and doesn't overly drain the battery, plus my car is used daily so I'm not concerned about flattening the battery. Can anyone suggest which fuse number would be best to piggy back from? Ta, Steve

I have version 3 in those pictures.... Interesting that it says the lights will activate if "The ignition key is removed"... but we have no ignition key. All that gadgetry and technology, and no one thought to run a wire from the stop button to the lights!

I've not noticed an extra switch, I have a switch for each of the two individual light, and a central 3-position switch in the middle

Another unknown switch? Is this down near the headlight rotary knob-thingy?

Hi All, Does anyone else get errors when trying to create a route on Skoda-Connect? Using the website (Not the mobile app) I am adding 2-3 or more places on the route, it saves fine, but then when I click "Activate" I get a 'The requested route can't be found" message at the bottom of the screen ,and nothing appears for import in the car. Adding destinations etc works fine. Ta, Steve

I have thanks, the switch is in the centre position. When the car is unlocked, the lights come on so the switch is in the right position. Cheers, Steve

Hi All, I've searched on here and in the owners handbook but I can't find any definite information regarding the interior lights of our Karoq - Should the interior light come on when you switch off the ignition? I'd imagine it should.... but it doesn't, and I can't find a menu setting for it and manual just states that the switch for "Automatic" should be in the centre (Which it is). Is this by design or am I missing something? (I have an SE-L, with KESSY if that makes a difference) Cheers, Steve

Hi All, I've been driving our new SE-L on country roads at night for the first time, and I don't see the adaptive lights... adapting? They level when the engine is started, but they don't swivel like our Yeti used to, and when cornering on roads and changing speed they don't swivel or appear to adapt at all. Should the lights swivel when cornering etc? Cheers

I entered 3 new destinations on the portal last night and this morning the car couldn't see them to download them..... It turns out I hadn't "Activated" the destinations, so that's why the car hadn't downloaded them... User error.

Ha yeah, I'm still working on the MirrorLink etc. I like the Skoda Connect, but remembering to switch on the phone's hotspot each time is a pain. I have an old MiFi box in the office, so I may put that in and see what its like.

I can't find a "Connect" setting to disable / re-enable I'm afraid - Where did you find on your unit? The car appears on the web portal (skoda-connect.com), but the whole set up seems a bit flaky to me... Ahhhhhh - Just tried it, works perfectly! I was grabbing the whole handle which I guess is unlock & lock at the same time... Damn, I should have known. Thanks John999boy!
