I managed to get some from halfords. Known as central hydrolic fluid and states it suits requirements to meet vw, skoda, audi etc. Its green but the number is G 00 2 000 rather than G 00 4 000 but on an audi forum its just the new replacing old. Well a little update I checked fluid when I got to work and it just shows on the dip stick and is way off the minimum line so going to source some fluid when I finish work. Hi just drove car (octy vrs mk1) home and noticed a strange whining noise. on idling it only does it when turning the wheel but if I apply some revs its really loud and changes tone if I move steering wheel side to side. I cant tell whether the feel of steering has changed at all just the loud whine which only used to happen on full lock. Hi im in the process of making a sub box thatll be discrete so wont be anything powerful 200watt maybe? Similar to the spare wheel 1s. Its for a mk1 octavia. Is it possible to wire it up to standard head unit, tapping into a rear speaker? Also on my speaker covers I have a sound system badge, after some research it means I have an uprated sound system. Ye easy enough its all about the 1st coats need to be a really light dusting leave for 15-20 mins. Then you can just put a couple of thick coats on, I left these for an hour between the coats. Then touched up areas looking thin.Took me all day to do 4 wheels, pretty time consuming. But worth the result . Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

I typed plasti dip metalizer in ebay, it came from a uk company rather than american genuine... Edit: I ordered matt black plasti dip from cardipuk and did a final 2 coats with the metalizer. Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk

She says I have OCD because I always want new parts, always park farthest away in car park away from everyone else, check car over and over and I get worried over the smallest blemish I find whether it being a stone chip or rattle . Hi all, originally posted in the mk1 octavia section and now been directed to you guys so here goes... I have a diamond silver vRS, I recently had all 4 arches (whole panel) resprayed including boot due to corrosion. I am wanting to give all 4 doors a good detail as they are swirly and hazey, lacking the shine the resprayed parts give off.(they look a different colour in certain light/angles). I am planning on giving the car a good wash, claying, srp and a wax to seal it. Ive never clayed before or even polished this car just the standard wash. Mine are an ebay special was pretty good to be honest, quite thick. Quite a similar tint to yours just the light I think. Big difference with the comparison photo though.
