Just the front splitter and boot lip spoiler to add. In carbon fibre, of course!

I will certainly visit the forum form time to time. The vRS has been replace by a BMW 440i Gran Coupe - see attached photo.

Spare wheel kit?

Hi Rob, have a look at my advert in the Classifieds! -
Time to say goodbye
WesternDuke replied to WesternDuke's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
As requested, a post-wash shot of the new machine. My Race Blue vRS hatch (32,400 miles) is going to the auctions, so if anyone sees KX15 UBY and would like any information on it, please ask. I will still be visiting the forum from time to time and there are still some items in the classifieds with reduced prices! Cheers, Phil -
Time to say goodbye

I'll certainly be visiting the site form time to time, just for the craic! I'm getting a five month old BMW 440i Gran Coupe in black, an ex-head office car so nicely spec'd. It should be interesting, as the last BM I owned was an E30 M3. I'll take some pictures over the weekend. -
After five and a half years of happy Octavia vRS ownership, both Mk2FL and Mk3, the time has come for a change. As of Friday I will no longer be a Skoda owner. To be honest, the Mk4 doesn't really do it for me and the likely list price means the fastest Octavia isn't the good value it used to be. I have listed some bits for Mk2 and Mk3 Octavias in the classified section so fellow Briskodians get the chance before they go on eBay. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the cars and especially being a member of this forum - an outstanding source of information and friendly support. All the best for the future, Phil

Time for a dedicated Octavia MkIV page?

I was just thinking the same thing!👍 -
Voluntary termination on PCP
WesternDuke replied to OliR's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
I asked for a settlement figure at a given date, they advised me, I paid and that was that. Really easy. -
Goodyear F1s have worked well for me in all but the most extreme weather conditions. To be honest if there's ice and snow about, the car stays where it is. It's not your grip or how you drive, it's the actions of others you need to worry about in weather like that!

Octavia - JD Power - how the hell?
WesternDuke replied to harrylime's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
On my second vRs DSG TSi and have had no problems on either. People are always very quick to complain, particularly when following on from another's comments. It seems with internet forums that 'good news doesn't sell'. -
Hel / Goodridge / EBC Brake Lines
WesternDuke replied to AndGibs1486's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Can't comment on the Goodridge or EBC but I have HEL to my Ducati. The quality of the brake lines and unions are excellent. -
I wouldn't worry about the mileage between the two. Condition, price and options that you actually want are more important. I have a 2015 model with 31k on the clock and if it wasn't for company car allowance rules dictating a change at six years old i would be looking to keep it long term - great car.
