  1. Finally will be picking the Vrs up on Monday I still don't believe this is actually happening. Has only taken since the 3rd of December to actually happen.
  2. Has anyone taken delivery of a MY15 Vrs yet? Be good to see some pics of the new steering wheel.
  3. I was starting to think I was the last of the December club left as it had gone quiet on here. Most people seemed to be getting BW 20. I reckon they are the last bulk of the MY14 before they moved over to MY15 unless anyone has a BW of 21/22?
  4. I am still waiting for a confirmed build week although indication from SUK was that this will be next week. Is anyone still waiting for a build date from December?
  5. The dealer lent me the demo today as it was December when I had a test drive. I hadn't driven a diesel as the previous demo was petrol having now driven the diesel I am more than happy that I have gone down the diesel route had it out for an hour on my own and am still smiling now. Definitely reminded me of why I am putting up with the wait. Dealer also mentioned that I am showing bw 23 now which is first week of June last week they had me down for an august build so hopefully things are moving in the right direction. I am defiinately feeling better having had a drive. Hopefully the bw might come forward some more although that is probably wishful thinking.
  6. I had to contact the dealer for my order number. As I was hoping to track my order on the track my Skoda site but that hasn't worked out either.
  7. Just had a call from dealer today good news apparently they are now seeing my order show a build week didn't mention which other than it was in August. To be fair threw me totally of guard so I think they got away without me losing the plot as I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. I spoke to SUK yesterday and mentioned that a lot of cars ordered after mine have already been built and delivered. They have said they would require evidence of this before they look into it as they seem to think we are all trying to damage the brand by suggesting that the supply chain is not operating as it should be? If anyone who has ordered a vehicle after the 3rd of December and already taken delivery of it would mind helping us out. All SUK have asked for is order numbers of the vehicles. They have said they will look into the supposed inconsistency in how they are building the cars. If you do not want to share this on the thread please PM me with the order number obviously the more the better so I can try and fight the corner a little bit as they seemed bemused when I said people are taking delivery of cars who have ordered subsequently to me. Any help with this would really be appreciated as it would be quite interesting to see if the skoda lottery does actually exist of if SUK will admit to it anyway.
  8. Just been racking my brain to try and come up with a logical reason why some orders are coming through quicker than others. I can only think of a few variables given apparently options are not an issue so SUK tell me. It seems that both estates and hatches are coming through in a variety of colour so I am left thinking are they clearing orders by geographic location. Or most of the guys who have taken delivery could be fleet orders which are being given preference over everyone else? I have asked SUK about the fleet possibility but they have surprisingly said they don't know and will have to come back to me. Has anyone got any other thoughts as to why it doesn't seem the supply chain is following a logical process that I can see?
  9. Been on the phone yet again to SUK today, they cannot confirm a build week even though the order was put through on the 3rd of December. Getting well and truly fed up with this. I also find out that I am only 14 weeks in according to them rather than 17 due to a 3 week shut down that my dealer should have informed me about. Just to top it off they cannot even guarantee me a hire car for a 500 mile trip I need to take to visit family in a months time. If they had explained all this up front I could of at least made an informed decision on whether or not to go ahead. currently I have an expected but unconfirmed bw of 20 which means I may actually pick the car up in mid June although no one will confirm this. I have asked whether or not options being removed or colour change will bring this forward and apparently no specific thing is causing a delay so I have asked why some customers have already received vehicles no one seems to be able to answer this so far. I have also asked if they can find a cancellation order with a similar spec would I be able to take the alternative vehicle on the same agreed finance package they have advised that they will need to investigate this and let me know. Have been promised a call by end of the week so will update with the response I receive. I t would be good to get a group of us together to raise the issue with SUK see if they would attend a group meeting or something to give a full explanation of the problems.
  10. Ordered a vRS tdi around 3rd of December race blue, standard cruise control, sunset glass Amundsen, spare wheel. Originally quoted a 12 week lead time Suk have been called and said dealer should have quoted 20 weeks. Don't think dealer would have misled at the point of deal but I could be wrong. My main issue is that Suk will not commit to a firm date. I have been looking at plan b options and a local VW dealer can offer me a CC Rline in stock for a similar monthly pcp. Really had my heart set on the vRS but need some clarity on a bw soon as losing all hope current expectation is a bw of w20 but they won't put it in writing. Dealer has put a couple of new tyres on my current motor as a good will gesture. Really disappointed with the whole experience to date.
  11. Hi guys have joined ahead of owning a vrs octavia which is currently waiting for a confirmed build week.
