I am wondering if anyone knows how to wipe completely clear, the internal phone directory of my 2012 Skoda Superb Amundsen+ This has been driving me nuts inasmuch as no matter what I do to my mobile phone as soon as I start my car and the phone starts to automatically connect to the cars system it synchronises the directory from the car to the phone - so I end up with phone numbers no longer required that were on my phone when I first purchased the car in April last year. So I thought if I can find out how to wipe it clean on the cars directory I can edit my phone list again on my mobile and load the most recent phone list

I certainly will try this - I tried what you said earlier but it did not work and after deleting a few old numbers on my mobile I jumped in the car today the synchronization started and on completion the numbers I deleted off the phone were back - so it is definitely the car contacts and numbers being synchronized to the phone - have another try tomorrow I am not 100% sure but there may be a difference between Amundsen and Amundsen+

Checked my phone and did not even know that there was a choice so under CONTACTS to DISPLAY is was set at ALL and I have now changed it to PHONE so I shall see how I get on next time I am in the Car - Thank you for pointing that out I do hope it resolves the problem

I am really having a problem with this inasmuch as every time I start my 2012 Model car the Amundsen+ system Synchronizes with my phone via Bluetooth - no problem there as the procedure is great and the car connects to my phone very easily - what the problem is my telephone list of contacts on my phone has changed somewhat but the LIST of CONTACTS within the Car replaces the LIST of CONTACTS on my phone and as much as I delete old numbers on my phone the CAR SYSTEM keep putting them back. I have even tried a Factory Reset but that did not work either - so any advice on this would be gratefully received

I am a bit confused with my Amundsen+ but I do know its not included in the Free Upgrade Not sure how you upgraded your but would appreciate where you can acquire an SD Card My Superb is a May 2012 Model

Thank You for your help - As a person who spent their work-a-day world driving Company cars I am fairly naive when it comes to service expectations and I suppose I would be an easy candidate to rip off (should a garage be that way inclined) however you have certainly given me something to go on I have checked the Service book and the only filter replaced was the Pollen Filter but that looks standard for each service - As far as mileage is concerned although I do not do a lot annually I do travel predominantly on Motorways or dual carriageways i.e. when we visit the Daughter in Lincolnshire it is just under a 600 mile round trip 85% of which is motorway and A1, I also play Golf through the year at a lovely course in Fife and that is a 160 mile round trip 60% of which is motorway and anything local I, as a Pensioner, will use my Bus Pass as we have a great Bus service Well I am off to the Local Skoda Dealership to see what they say and if alls well I will book the car in for a Minor Service - Once again Thank You for you knowledgeable assistance

Cheers for your very informative response - I should have said it is a 2012 Skoda still under warranty and has been serviced on a regular basis by Skoda dealers - at present it runs like a dream and I am absolutely delighted with it - there has been no issues come up so far on the Maxidot and my last visual check did not show anything untoward s

As I purchased my Skoda Superb second-hand I am coming up to my first Service and I wondered if any of you Guy's could give me a clue in what to look out for, expect in the way of works that would be required and expected costs - Also is it advisable to stick to a Skoda Dealership bearing in mind I purchased my car in the Midlands and live in Scotland Cheers

I would say the 0801 is the better of the two

I have the Mini 0801 Dash Cam and it works a treat - I have sitting just to the left of my rear view mirror hard wired to operate when the ignition is switched on and records all the time I am driving I would highly recommend this model as once its in place you hardly notice it from outside Watch The Techman on the YouTube link and it becomes self explanatory

Thanks for the feedback guy's - It would appear I believed the Average Consumption to be accurate but I guess 10% out is quite a lot - not like my previous Volvo which was round about 2% Well I shall have to resort to the Fill & Measure method to get an accurate reading

Just returned from a visit to Family in Gainsborough in my 2012 Skoda Superb SE Plus TDi (140) and was overly impressed with my fuel consumption - so Cumbernauld to Gainsborough Saturday last 264 miles door to door 62.2 MPG adding never really broke the speed limit (????) and definitely did not go under it but mostly motorway with cruise control set. Return journey today same route but came in at 61.5 MPG door to door and I can only assume it was downhill going and up hill coming back Now that beats my previous car which was a Volvo V70 DRIVe 1.6 Diesel on the same journey which I have driven many times so all in all I am very pleased - Has anyone experienced similar or better MPG

Could you tell me please was your update a CD or SD Card -

I had the same problem with my earlier car (Volvo) following a Service they carried out a Software update and my phone would not stay connected so I returned the car and they kept my phone and paired it up - apparently I was told some Samsung phones are not compatible with new software

Thanks Guy's - tried to change it but no joy so I guess it is not a bad thing to have MPH on the main dial and the secondary in KPH
