  1. Picked mine up yesterday. Had 145 on the way home and she was still pulling. Lucky I backed off when i did because there was undercover next to me by the time I'd slowed down. Quite surprised in it. Impressive machine.
  2. Antrim aye? I bought a wicked Citroen in Antrim a few years back. Hard te beat!
  3. Oosh! Ok, I'll get this grumble diagnosed asap. The cosmetics can wait.
  4. First of all, what a great little car! Handles brilliantly, pulls like an absolute train, comfy enough, nice and simple. It does have a couple issues with this particular one though. There's a grumbling rattle coming from what feels like the underside of the engine. Especially under hard exeleration. Is this the duel mass fly wheel on its way out? The original boot carpet has been replaced with some ill fitting, dark black rubbish. Where can I get a good genuine at sensible money? The gear stick has a lot of wear on the plastic. Is £22 really the best deal you can get on a replacement? It's had an after market exhaust. I don't think it suits the car as well as the original. What do you suggest as far as exhausts go? Also it has an after market cone filter. What is the most suitable breathing kit for these? Any other tips would be great.
  5. I'm looking at an 06 fabia vrs tdi with around 70k. It's got 200bhp apparently, bilsteins all round. Ive been given the contact details of the previous owner so I can discuss the history. Timing belt and clutch were done august 2013. What should I look out for?
  6. Was thinking the same today. I would like rails that run parallel with the length of the car.
