Just a note 24,000 klms is less that 15,000 miles

Hi Guys The car came with Continental Sports (18 inch) and I have found that they are good for performance but the longevity is poor to say the least. (I have had issues with tyres from hours after I took delivery but that was sorted , kinda) The car has almost 24000 kilometres on it and although high ish for a 6 month old car, its seems poor that I have to replace the tyres so soon. (I am aware that the bigger the wheel the less "mileage" one can expect from a tire) There are a number of posts on this site regarding tyres: However, If anyone can advise me as to a good performance tire that will also give longevity and are not noisey, it would be great !! Thank You (note to self: tire = American English : tyre = British English)

thanks guys oh : I would hope I would get more that 30,000 klm before I have to change the tyres. (continental sports) (because they were changed, the front tyres have 2000klm less than the back )

Hi Guys Picked up my Superb on July 10th 2014. Apart from the car pulling to the left when I got it and after a lengthy minor battle with the dealer, the two front tires were replaced. Although, I still not entirely happy as it feels that the car tends to drift to the left still and I feel as if the left front tire is not wearing as well as the others. Anyway. there is almost 14,000 klms on it . First service at 15,000 klms What should I expect on the first service?

Hi guys I had the car coated with Opti Coat Pro. So far no stone ships . The Opti Coat pro is supposed to somewhat protect the car but I am sure I will get some chips at some stage. Just coming up to 14,000 klms. First service due next week ish.

Mine the L&K Model with options: 2.0Ltr Diesel Metalic Brown Panoramic Roof Electronic Boot 553 PK6 Rear Assist Drowsiness 52 PKH Midi Interface 172 UF6 Hill Hold 102 PAR Variable Boot Floor 256 PK5 Sun Visor (dual/split) Apart from a faulty tire on the front that caused the car to pull to the left and the Main Dealer trying to fob me off, the car so far is a pleasure. I still get the odd comment "but its a Skoda" , my retort is that its luxury at its best and a thinking mans car. the sound system in the L&K is only superb too

I echo the above! I have mine since July 10th : Similar spec (without the DSG) ...... Its an absolutely fantastic car! Had mine detailed with opti coat pro and added Wind deflectors fitted and very happy! I am seriously thinking about purchasing a second one (but 4x4 with DSG) but will wait till 2016 when the new Superb is available in Ireland

how can you tell the version of the maps on the satvav?
