  1. I've still had no answer from the 3 bay sellers, they won't sell much when they don't answer. Mine doesn't work the car's to old I'll try the bay again with a different seller failing that I'll go to the guy i used to use.
  2. Somebody with vcds that can reset an air bad light on a mk4 Golf, thanks
  3. Sorry guy's, yes it manual Lee what you say makes sense but it's bloody stupid and can be dangerous, my old A4 (b7) was auto (cvt) same engine, I'm not flooring it but pulling away the same as most folk, i did a fault code check yesterday and nothing but something somewhere's not right or if this is the way an 06 A6 2.0 tdi is in standard form....it's bad. I'll see if there's one near me in a dealer and get a test in it
  4. Normal moving, but you'd need to put the foot down quite a bit just move normal....it moves off normal then within secs it's like i take my foot off the pedal, I've never experienced anything like it and had few more cars power cars that didn't have this crap..
  5. So much asking that....dam near 50 folk and bugger all
  6. Ok...ive got an A6 C6 (06) 2.0 tdi now it's maybe the same as what's in some Skoda's so the question is....are you folks with a Skoda with the same engine is it "restricted" in first, ie you're pulling away and all's well then within a few secs there's a flat spot, once in 2nd ect ect it's normal. I Googled it and seemingly there IS for some stupid reason this factory restriction and only a remap can get rid of it. Now the thing is, i had an 05 A4 2.0 tdi auto (same engine) but was fine, i don't understand it. I'd though of the egr but as i say, once in 2nd ect ect it's fine so doubt it's that..
  7. Now there's a hard man, on a bloody pushbike at 5 in the morning in the cold fog and dark and you pussies are in yer heater boxes with snow tyres
  8. It's very nice but honestly don't see why it's so expensive as I said to him too, looks good though, maybe it's me but I like an alloy (especially) if silver ect to be all the same inside, it makes them very clean
  9. It was quieter when I went to see it, not much but a bit, unless it's the way that engine is but I've heard the same car and engine a couple of nights ago and was noticeably quieter than mine. I was at Wilson323 yesterday getting codes read, he said too it sounds noisy, not broken noisy just noisy but there's a code v157 (p3103) the intake mani flap (part of egr) so unless that's causing I'm not sure
  10. Thanks Chris I'll pass this on, yes there's seemingly a few photos in his as showing the black on the inside....so why are they not all done like ordinary coatings, I think it's odd
  11. A mate was looking at some for his car after seeing them on scumtree, they looked good till he saw that the insides were gloss black not the black chrome on the front, is that right enough, the seller said to him they had to be done like that to keep them within spec.....true or bs
