  1. Thanks edbostan, the filter is inline I believe and easy to do - especially if it is on a ramp. I have decided to leave it as it does not appear to be causing a problem. I Appreciate the advice.
  2. Hi, 2012 1.2tsi. Should the fuel filter be routinely changed. No problems with my car but wondering after 12+ years if i should ask the garage to do this? Mike
  3. An update to close out this thread. Changing the spark plugs did the trick, hindsight being a valuable thing i should have done this when the misfire first occurred.. Plugs were pretty poor, I suspect my garage had not changed them for a while. The garage said they had inspected them and they were OK, but i am sceptical.
  4. This is the puller i used... https://ebay.us/m/Y9xuef
  5. Hi, i had the self same issue. Missing is a small cap that diverts the water onto the screen. You can get replacement caps but they did not fit my model . The ultimate solution for me was to get a complete wiper arm. The difficulty is removing the current wiper. I ended up using a puller to get the broken wiper off. Then it was a simple swap. The replacement wiper arm was about £15..
  6. Hi Ootohere, i am still away from home so don't have the service records to hand. I suspect the plugs haven't been done for at least 4 years, maybe longer. Pulling the lead from one plug showed the top of the plug to be cruddy.
  7. On a long drive my Roomster showed the EPC and stability control lights and went into limp mode. It is a Skoda Roomster 1.2 TSI (2014), it hasn't been any trouble over the years apart from an occasional misfire. The misfire occurs when i depress the accelerator sharpley but has been getting worse until today when the dash lights came on. My hunch/hope is that a new set of spark plugs will sort out the problem. This is a job i am confident i can do and a smallish investment, would you change the plug coils / leads at the same time? What do you think?
