  1. MPG will always vary by driver and journey. I do 250 mile a day and I get 46mpg and I don’t hold back. 4x4 is great when at wet junctions. Gives me real confidence without taking stupid chances
  2. TCS button needs to be held down until a sport/launch message comes up. Can’t remember what it actually says but definitely not just TCS turned off. It won’t work otherwise. my 190 4x4 is quite good fun when I get the chance to use it.
  3. I have an S3 190 4x4 hatch in L&K guise and had a Oct3 184 manual VRS. Two very different cars. VRS was fun and could be thrown around and the manual box was a blessing. The Superb is larger and heavier but way more comfortable. Regardless of using Sport settings it will never hold the revs as well as a manual. The 4x4 system adds weight but is also a blessing in those whoops corners, pulling away and wet/greasy roads. I love both. As a passenger my wife loves both. Very different but very good in their own ways.
  4. Absolutely. First time for me and would never be without again. I spend 3/5 hours one way trip normally and always fresh when I get out.
  5. I ask them which police officer they require and explain they have rung a private Police Station number. soon gets them off the phone
  6. I was sat in a car park eating some crisps and the rustling noise behind me freaked me out. Voice enhancer volume was set at 100% I turned it off then as I don't carry anyone in the rear normally. The Superb is quieter than my 03 VRs estate so dont think I'd need to use it anyway.
  7. Not sure if this has been mentioned before but may be a quick/cheaper fix for some. My O3 Estate boot mat fits my S3 Hatch all but 2 inches in length. Width is perfect. As you can see from the pic I'm glad I used it. I was taking an old deckchair to the tip and it was full of rusty rain water.
  8. Sorry for the delay. Both my cables work with Apple CarPlay.
  9. You don't have to. Jack up rear, remove wheel put on spare. Drop car (not literally) Jack up front, remove flat replace with rear. Probably not recommended on Motorway hard shoulder (if these exist anymore)
  10. Superb L&K 190 DSG 4x4 Hatch Candy White Sunroof Spare Wheel Ventilated Seats Black Leather DSG Paddles Rear Wiper
  11. A couple more after a few hours playing this morning. I'm pretty impressed with it.
  12. Picked up today 190 Tdi DSG 4x4 L&K Candy White, sunroof, black ventilated seats, spare wheel, rear wiper and DSG Paddles. coming from an O3 VRs Tdi manual estate it sure is more refined and huge. I'm going to enjoy this weekend.
  13. I've got full black leather coming on my L&K, coming from 1/2 leather/fabric O3 VRS seats. Given the auxilliary heater/ventillation now available surely the days of scorching seats is a thing of the past. I'll be using the aux ventillation as and when necessary to reduce cabin temperature before driving. Now just hoping the system is up to it.
  14. I bought this one https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01M711J7M/ref=od_aui_detailpages00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 as well as the longer straight USB 90 degree Lightning. both untested until next weekend. I'll let you know if they work.
  15. Glad it's sorted and thanks for providing an update. Doesn't always happen. That's good to know. I get mine next Friday and have bought a right angle non Apple cable. I'll see how I get on with it.
