It's been said before but I wouldn't buy Magifoam. Not been impressed with its cleaning ability, has to be said, it foams well though! I've got about 7L left to use before I move on. Tend to add a bit of PM TFR in to help with the cleaning power. Next foam will be a Bilt or LE on I think based on reviews.

I am using the Scythe by AD at the mo. Love it.
1" N American Sheepskin pile. Clings to the car as you wash. Can't wash in the washing machine but just needs a rinse then leave to dry. Pleasure to use.

Good find!

So far so good! Not only did they beat my renewal but they beat the lowest quote on the comparison website by a whopping £70. Saved over £200 on my renewal quote. Content of insurance seems great also. Hopefully I won't need to use them but hope all is well if I do! Thanks CK!

Hi. Thanks for the replies! It's the 845 insulator wax.
-
I would prefer that too. Can you leave colinite for a similar length of time too?

Case of the disappearing mobile presets returned. Skoda UK and the local stealer being right gits. Not happy!!

Ste, did you wax the whole car before buffing?

Great job! I'd defo buy some tar remover (auto smart) and done iron remover (I use dragons breath). I like the Farleca Clay Mitt too but others prefer a clay bar.

Good job mate. Get some good advice in the forum here! Enjoy the shine before it needs its next wash!

Thanks to you all. I will keep an eye on the longevity of both products and post back.

Thanks Chris. Will keep you in the loop. Supposedly a top up to the existing LSP and lasts around 4 weeks which should help me with my wash regieme and my reasonably high mileage. Had a read on DW before I bought it. supposedly crackles as you apply it, but my ears are shot so no idea if it actually does!! The Abyss seems super slick and a breeze to apply. The ease of application for a beginner like me is key, also for someone with 2 young kids and not much spare time longevity it key also. What length of protection time are you seeing from Abyss?

Purchased both of these with some spare birthday cash last week. Have been after the spray Abyss for awhile and keep missing it in the sales. Got to say, quite impressed. The red colouring is great to use on White cars! Also wanted a wet coating for those wet days! Tried Nanolex after reading a few write ups and watching some videos. So easy to apply and gives a great gloss on top of my existing wax. Both great purchases I'd recommend!!

Called in today to pick a few bits up, helpful as always but their shelves had been obliterated! Picked up some Abyss spray that I've been meaning to try.

Assuming you spray the whole car with something like s lance your would surely cover some of the windscreen too?
