Yeah. I messaged then asking when the cambelt was done at first and they got back straight away saying. "Yes its been done" but not a when it was done. I messaged them back asking about the hpi and when the cambelt was done but have been ignored. Cat n wouldn't put me off but they are being very vague with there answers or not answering at all.

I decided against going with it in the end. As the car park i park at for work is one of the worst going with the spots being so narrow and the disabled spot always full before i get there. I constantly find dings on the car, saw a brand new bmw parked there with a scrape already on the bumper

starting on it today, feel quite sad but need the money so gotta do what you gotta do i suppose

sorry didn't realise i had any responses in the end i decided to try and keep it for another year, However disaster struck and the water pump went along with the abs pump within a week of each other. So im going to start stripping it next week I figured the same as i stripped a ibiza 1.9tdi sport about 8 years ago after crashing it and ended up making 3k on a car which cost me 2k pre accident

Think i might be looking to get a new car come summer time but I'm undecided what to do with my skoda Being a vrs estate im thinking strip it as i will get alot more money for the parts then if i was to sell it. My problem is the cars on over 200k and is now a cat n with a dented front wing and a few suspension bits have started making noise. Taking these into consideration it would reduce the cars value a fair bit. How much do you think i could make from stripping the car

Thing is not all disabilities are visible some people might have breathing issues stoping them from walking long distances. others like me might look fine one day of the week but on another i cant even get out my house to my car to go anywhere. Also people claiming to be carers will get the car in the disabled persons name then use the blue badge etc for themselfs without the person with them

Oddly its not the medical practitioners who decide who gets the benefits. its some random person in front of a computer who types in half of what you say is wrong with you. I went for it a few years ago when I was in quite bad shape but at that point, I didn't know both my hips will be getting replaced and was turned down. This time around got it. the badge scheme is really shocking. I applied for that a few years back also and was turned down even though I had missed an appointment as I could not move to get out of bed and ended up calling an ambulance that day. But didn't really need it too much as wouldn't have been able to park closer to my work even if i did have it. I applied again this year as i need it more now and was told i have to see the same person i saw all them years ago even though they go off the notes in the system. I turned up a day early and then 10 mins late on the day of the appointment as was told i cant be seen. I complained to the local councillor who got me seen by someone else and i finally got a blue badge and was seen by someone else. I think alot of it is the luck of the person you see on the day. I know of someone who recorded a meeting with them and took them to court when they were refused and won as the person gave them 0 points even though they couldn't do any of the stuff asked

I decided to keep my car But thats really tempting.

What are they like with car park dings cause in the past year my spotless car now has dings on every door and even a scape on the back bumper. Had to park in a none disabled spot today and as i was getting back into my car a gust of wind blew and hit my door into the wall. Also was wondering about tyres. The same car park has alot of broken glass in it and have had one puncture because of it. Do they replace them or will that be at my cost

its also an area thing. My dads insurance has shot up in the past few years also. at one stage it was £200 now its about £350. seems theres alot of dodgy claims etc in our area

None Clean license, 1 crash 8 years ago. and thats with me shopping around alot. When i first got the car before my 25th i was paying £700 but it seems everyone in the area is paying more on insurance now

Cheers Im not looking for one right away but maybe in a couple of months. As Someone hit my car last year and the claim in still ongoing as they are claiming i hit them. But once thats sorted ill be looking to get it
