  1. Not as yet, I did read some hit and miss reviews though. Still debating it at the moment although not high on my priority list currently.
  2. Currently looking at dashcams and came across the IRO Dashcam G12 - has anyone got one of these installed? Loving the sleek, integrated into the rear view mirror, minimalist approach. Alternatively what would others recommend for a suitable front (and ideally back) dashcam?
  3. I've not got it in my L&K which is just 2 years old, whilst from what I understand the QI standard is possible a little old (it's been around for quite a few years). so perhaps something that is no longer offered perhaps? Having read a little further, you'd also still need to connect your phone via USB to get CarPlay etc. which does defeat the object slightly. I wanted it realistically so i could charge wireless but also trigger my phone to enable bluetooth once placed on the charging pad (and turn it off again when removed). That said I believe there is a way to code an RFID tag to do pretty much the same.
  4. Awesome, thanks for those - gotta be honest the official Skoda marketing video for this accessory makes the holder looks TINY but your photos show it's a really good size Yer looks like a guilty purchase but one that'll keep my noisy one in the back seat a lot quieter and focused.
  5. Ok, rather a silly question - is there any way to determine if my Skoda Superb MK3 (L&K) has wireless charging? Yes, i could place a phone with wireless charging capabilities into the space where the charger would be, but I don't have one at the moment. Notably inside the fold out flap under the air controls is the rubberised section on the left, with 1 USB ports and 12V socket on the right.
  6. Yer i spotted its not suitable for the sports seats... luckily I've got the standard L&K heated seats with the gap between the headrest and main seat. Does it actually do a good job of "gripping" a tablet though? Or does a big (or small) bump in the road send the tablet flying out the holder?
  7. That'd be ace if possible Opps - looks like it clips in and out quite easily though...
  8. Has anyone got the "universal tablet holder" smart holder with headrest adaptor holder? http://www.superskoda.com/Skoda/SUPERB-III/Smart-holder-original-Skoda-Autoas-product Does it do a good job of holding a tablet? Is it limited to any specific sizes or thicknesses of tablet/device e.g. will a Amazon Fire 7 Kids Edition Tablet fit in this?
  9. Can anyone recommend any rear door sill protectors for MK3? Would also be good if you've able to show some photos as I'd like to get an idea of "coverage". Thanks
  10. Thanks for all the feedback and input on this thread, ended up going with a rather eye catching red L&K which I'm very, very, very pleased with
  11. I actually ended up finding a really nice 220ps L&K model which i'm due to pick up towards the end of next week
  12. So a little update... The dealer selling the car has taken it out this afternoon (similar road conditions as before), done some harsh acceleration and highlighted that the traction control alert has come on. They also suggested that the car has adapting learning and as a result might not be used to such a harsh driving style. The tires are indeed Pirelli P7s so that might additionally factor into the TC triggering on harsh acceleration. It's had one service so far, this was done by Skoda however they do plan on doing service checks themselves before sale (they are a BMW dealership) so I'd presume the evidence and invoices of any work that is needed (which hopefully there shouldn't) will still fall under Skoda's servicing guidelines. I'm obviously going to go have another look at it before I buy but it does sound (hopefully) as though things are heading in the right, positive direction. Any other thoughts appreciated
  13. The tires have good tread and the road was a little damp and it was cold (not dry perfect conditions). Acceleration wise it was not from standing... probably 20mph up to 60mph with the foot to the floor! Quite honestly I did wonder if it was wheel spin (more so now following @MartiniB video). I can quite easily get my 190ps manual to wheel spin in first gear when its wet/cold. The actual 220ps power and acceleration did quite honestly surprise me (compared to my 190ps) and i can see exactly why the 272 comes with 4 wheel drive for that very reason.
  14. Thanks, i'm going to dig into with them tomorrow... it's just this small (or big) engine issue that is letting it down, I was 101% happy with everything else about the car. Best to be diligent though...
