No coding is required if you had working Canton before. Are you sure the splitter is hooked up correctly?
-
I think I fitted the most splitter behind the head unit. But not sure about this. It has been a while

A few years ago there was a poor batch of moll batteries fitted. My superb had such a bad battery. It was replaced under warranty. The dealers knows which batteries are affected. -

Intermittent issues with FLAC playback

Yes i have the same problem. Also after updating the firmware on columbus. I have not found a solution. -
I think the popcorn is finished by now, but I have found the time to work in the car. The pump ran on a 12v supply. But sounded a bit weird so ordered a new pump. Load testing of the wires showed there was nothing wrong with the wiring. (thank God) Installed the new pump. Put the car on without motor running: Pump did not work. After starting the engine: Only the rear window washer worked..... After closing the bootlid also the front washer worked. So top tip: Start the car and close the bootlid before testing. Thank you all for your help!

Great. Thanks for the help! Before I load test, I will leave the car locked en shutdown for an hour. To be sure the BCM gives power. Than connect a bulb to the pump end. Just to see it it lights up. Still not sure why the BCM did not throw a fault code. If it cuts the power, it must be able to throw a fault code.
-
Yep. I did the measuring with the multimeter after I tested the pump dismantled from the resorvoir. So maybe the BCM already cut the power to.it
-
Okay. Checked the BCM advanced measuring data: When I press of push the stalk the washer system changes to active for just 1 second. Even tough I push of pull the stalk for longer. I was able to use the xenon's washers via vcds. They worked! There was also an option to activate the front and rear washer via vcds. But they did not work. No fault codes present. It looks to me the BCM deactivates the washer after 1 second because of a too high current.
-
Thank you for the input. Sounds like I will need to use vcds for the BCM input measure data and hopefully activate xenon's washers with vcds
-
It was set to DC of course. But good tip on measuring with battery ground. Just hoping for a bad connection in the loom by now. Faulty BCM would be a pain. Another thought. The xenon's have a separate pump. I also measured voltage on that pump. Same result. But the xenon's don't spray always when I use the window washer. Is there a way to directly activate the xenon washer?
-
I checked for voltage between the 2 terminals terminals. Reading was not 0 but 0,39v it did not change when moving the stalk. I have looked for the connector but from the top of the engine bay I cannot find it. Maybe from underneath. But I will have to be at home to remove the undertray. It may also be in the RH wheel well.

Thank you!!

That is what seemed logical to me. However, the BCM is on the LH side of the car as is the washer reservoir... It does not sound logical to put the connector on the RH side of the car.
