  1. Hi, I bought my car from new and specified various items, tow bar, dashcam etc. The dashcam has stopped working 2 years from new. I have checked the dashcam itself in my wife's car( Exactly the same model) and it works. I changed the fuse , and without the dashcam attached , it blew straightaway. I know the camera only has a 12 month warranty, but should the dealer fix the wiring if that is at fault? Cheers, Paul Ps, whilst I am here, I had a yeti for 10 years and the gearbox was flawless, with the new karoq I find the gearbox very notchy , and a few times it hasn't properly gone into gear ,any one else had any issues?
  2. Hi, I am thinking of trading my Yeti in for a Karoq. As built new seems to be 9 months wait , I am thinking of buying anything available now, (new or used) has anyone any experience of fitting a tow bar? Talking with dealers , it seems 50/50 , yes , you can fit, no, it will affect any warranty. Thanks, Paul
  3. Its now fixed! They eventually fitted a new sensor which made the issue go away , but did not charge me, which I cannot argue with. Whether the new battery highlighted an issue that was imminent? Thanks again for all the help.
  4. Thanks all for the info, Now prepared to do battle!
  5. Hi Pete, I had a good look where you said but could not find it. I am taking the car back in next week because I now have four orange warning lights , Power steering/ESC/ABS/TPMS, which came on the day after they fitted the battery , Also, my stop/start system has stopped working. They have initially said it may be a sensor, but it was fine before fitting the new battery! Perhaps a higher voltage from the new battery is exposing faults ? I will buy the parts and hand them over for them to fit. Thanks for the quick reply, really appreciated.
  6. HI, I had a new stop/start battery fitted at a well known high street motoring shop, but they failed to refit the holding clamp . Does anyone know the part number ? I have a 2014 1.6 greenline diesel. I did try and sort it out with the shop , but failed , and I am not getting my blood pressure up arguing over it! Many thanks, Paul
