  1. Out of interest, is the check valve the same as the Coolant Shut-Off Valve (N82) please?
  2. Hi Gaz, Thanks for the heads-up. Was hoping for something much less interesting and serious than that but reading through it makes sense. Will get the car home after work and make some inquiries. Andy
  3. Hi, hoping someone can please assist - my heater takes ages to start sending through warm air. The blower itself is fine and once the heat comes it works fine, just the weird delay. Checked and couldn't find any silica bag (despite the reservoir noting 'Mit Silikat') , no coolant loss and car temperature is fine. Doesn't quite fit the symptoms of a heater control valve or thermostat issue. Any thoughts greatly appreciated - heading toward winter here. Hope the lock down is treating you well.
  4. Yes it's a real word. More evidence that scouts are a waste of money - can't even cross a fast flowing river. https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/111985260/franz-josef-truck-ferry-shuts-down-after-authorities-warn-of-safety-risk
  5. Have had 3 punctures now and the TPMS has warned every time before there is any visible loss of air. Gold.
  6. Hi - just FYI for those interested. PITA mid-summer air con failure, took me back to the days of open windows at high speeds (but with the car telling me this was not good for economy!). Below fix details, took them 2 full days and luckily I was in the final week of warranty. Interestingly on asking about the work, I was told the compressor installed was an updated part as the original has been superseded. I asked if the superseded part was a common fault and told no...??...
  7. Looks good but what is a 'CD'? Is it a new form of MP3?
  8. This is purely a personal taste thing. If you like it, go for it. One thing, it'll never get dirty unlike my candy white.
  9. Hey mate, no not yet. Literally just managed to sell the other one so will start looking to the next mod now. The Spulen mount put me off a bit to be honest so the next mod is likely to be more aesthetic. Keen on some spacers but unsure if the LVV is worth the hassle - have you been on that journey?
  10. Warm water for fabric and Meguiar's Gold Class Leather Conditioner for the leather (seems to clean and condition).
  11. Thanks for the info. Looks like a good compromise. Will sell mine and give that one a whirl I think. Cheers
  12. Hi. Had the same problem. Installed a SPULEN Dog Bone Engine Mount Insert Kit and it made a massive difference to launch, reduced wheel spin and the banging. Incredible that such a minor and inexpensive mod can have such an impact. Unfortunately, the vibration at idle even after a settling in period drove me insane so removed it.... It's a family car afterall. For sale (in NZ) if anyone wants to give it a bash. 5 minute install.
  13. Should be able to see some heavier scratching on the disc as well if it's a stone. Terrible noise.
