  1. Does anyone know the part number for the outer front sensors (Octavia IV 1.5 SEL)? Wondering if this would fit (outer n/s) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/223980814778?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=whMFaXETSwS&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=Z1dyoePFTMq&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  2. I think I've got a genuine park assist fault this time (having had the intermittent one since I got my mk IV last year on and off). Now I get the front sensors unavailable message pretty much all the time but it seems to "work" randomly for a few minutes at a time before breaking again. Got it booked in with the main dealer in a couple of weeks for a warranty investigation. Getting pretty fed up with the constant electrical gremlins tbh
  3. That only goes up to 2016 doesn't it?
  4. Hi all Does anyone know the part number for the rubber grommets that hold the engine cover on? Octavia iv 2023 - 1.5 TSI
  5. I put the old 527 relay back in and no faults for 48 hours. This is the same as before where the fault code would only appears after about 3 or 4 days. Any ideas if how to diagnose something that intermittent? Or why the 457 relay throws the glow plug fault immediately and the 527 doesn't?
  6. In the pick I posted its the one saying 457
  7. The 527 part is 04L.907.282.B The 457 part is 038.907.281.B
  8. Hi all My 2018 Superb L&K is throwing up a P064C intermittent error code which comes back after a few days. The control unit is stamped 527. I got hold of a second hand unit from a breakers which is stamped 457 and plugged it in. This one throws up P0673 (glow plug 3 circuit error) So I have two questions 1. What is the actual difference between 527 and 457 Control units? (They are the same size and various searches seem to show them as both fitting my car) 2. Why would they show different codes? Any help would be appreciated please - will maybe swap the glow plugs round at the weekend to see if the fault follows the plug in cylinder 3 when I move it
  9. Well the specs for Canton claim 100w on each of the 2 channels and this sub has 2x150 nominal over 8 ohms so I assumed it would - but looking for anyone with experience in this area to advise.
  10. Most likely a setting on the phone as I have a 67 plate vRS which connects fine - but on my last phone I had to make sure the phone allowed the car to access it's storage (file transfer) and that USB debugging was turned off
  11. Can anyone foresee a problem with replacing the Canton sub in my Octavia hatch with this? I was thinking of replacing the parcel shelf with some suitable acoustic board and mounting it right in the middle. https://www.soundimports.eu/en/monacor-sph-390tc.html
  12. Does anyone know if you can get a sub enclosure for the Octavia for the other (right hand side) of the boot? If I could have am enclosure on each side (all nice and tidy) I'd just wire in a single coil 8 ohm 10" sub on each side. The original Canton amp would presumably be fine driving 100w to each sub.
  13. I know this is an old thread now - but can anyone see an issue with just dropping this in to the box and running off of existing wiring? https://creativeaudio.net/10tw3-d8/ It's 10 inch with dual 8-ohm voice coil - I just wonder if ti would be a little underpowered for this particular speaker? (Bit its the only one I can find in the UK). The other question I had was - why cant you just put a couple of 4 ohm resistors in line with a dual voil 4 ohm sub? (They're dirt cheap by comparison)
