  1. Bought the car from my father in law and its been kept in good nick. Engine is mint and only had a small amount of surface rust. But cheers for the heads up. Ill keep an eye out for these problems.
  2. After a few problems here and there I decided to sell my little Fabia.. im sure it wont be long before im back in a skoda (hopefully a yeti) but I was sad to see it go. My 'new' car was a steal.. 2000 Mercedes c180 auto, 90000 miles with mot and a purring engine..... £200!! Should last me a few years until im back to being a skoda owner again. But for now.. Thanks for your help.
  3. I have a spare din .. And i know what my next job is now
  4. Wont let me post anymore pictures for some reason..
  5. Heres some pics as promised.. Pretty straight forward... Even for me! 1. Base slots into cup holder. 2. Screw down using holes provided. (I bought new screws as the ones provided seemed a little soft) 3. Bolt arm rest to middle section user fatter screw. 4. Place arm rest into base and screw in. (little bit fiddly as not much room for screwdriver/ drill) 5. Cover screws with rubber stops provided. Easy peasy! Its slighty in the way of the handbrake when pulled up fully but it tilts/lifts so no problem. Feels solid and nice quality. Even inside there is some soft felt like material.
