Hi, Just bought a second Fabia vRS, this one is the BLT engine. It pulls really well but hesitates/stutters around 1500 to 2000rpm, especially when I ease off the pedal & keep it at cruise. The car is a lovely sprint yellow with black leather seats, bought recently from Nottingham. I've already spent lots on this car & really love it, apart from this stutter/miss/hesitation thing. I'm sorry to bring up such an old subject, but i've searched on here & can only find old threads. What I need (i think) is the egr blanking plate/gasket, the one with the small hole that needs drilling out to 11mm. I did find the part #, but a search just brought up gaskets, not the plate. Hope someone may be able to help me. Thanks.

Thanks Wino, for taking time & effort to help. Spent an hour on google & found out that the bolts I want are indeed radius R12 . Bought a set of 35mm bolts & 4 locking set off ebay from caravan bolts, so hopefully sorted. OOOH... I have missed Briskoda lol.

Yeah, thanks for that Wino. Just as I thought, those 60 degree tapered bolts didn't look right. Think radius seats are a little rounded (cup-shaped) to sit in the wheel holes as opposed to the tapered ones. Wonder if VAG do extended bolts.

Hi all, been a long time since I needed your help. Well my Son has bought himself a Fabia vrs & he's purchased a set of 6mm spacers & Me being Me offered to fit them. What a mistake! 2 of the wheel bolts would not tighten up, on inspection the threads were stripping on the bolt, not in the disc though. I think I need longer wheel bolts as mine measure 27mm thread length. Iv'e searched the 'Bay' & found several sellers with extended 35mm bolts described as fitting mk1 vrs. with a 60 degree tapered seat but also in every sellers description it says "if you have original oem alloys, please contact us as they may not fit". Could anyone tell me whether these 60 degree taper sets are suitable or not. Btw...the wheels are original factory. Thanks in anticipation, & I've missed you lol.
