I'm in London but i might be able to travel up to 2h journey. would help a lot if you recommend someone that you already used to replace your flywheel and you were happy.

Anyone had any experience with a garage replacing their flywheel? I have a 2014 superb 170hp dsg. Found a Sachs flywheel online for £310 which I think is a good price, but the garage I found said they won't fit it unless I get the parts from them. Now they keep delaying me probably because I was looking to have it replaced cheaper. They quoted me £800 for a LUK flywheel including the gearbox oil and filter change. But they keep delaying me! I called a few others I found online but they either can't do it or they don't have the software. I didn't know it needs software adjustment after its been fit, or at least this is what they told me. Does anyone know a reliable garage that can do the job, roughly for the same price, or I can provide the flywheel.

It happened twice in almost 2 years for me and i left it flashing (not that I could do anything, unless I stop the car) and after about 2-3 minutes started working. follow this very kind gentleman's advice and do a restart. i did one even if it was working fine after the flashing episode.

hello fellow skoders, this is the second time when this happens, first time happened last year in march. so initially the radio was dead today when i started the car and no buttons worked. after some driving, it started over and was flashing as in the video. 2-3 mins later it came back to life working as usual. i didn't get the chance to see if the touch screen was working. is it sick? will it die soon? i anyway didn't like it too much as it was really slow. i might consider those android replacement. the radio is the one with satnav and tv. the car is a skoda superb 2014. and that short creepy sound is my little one moaning in the back. Has anyone else received a recall letter from skoda? I find it strange that a physical part will be fixed with a software update.
