  1. Can people put the mileage of the failure on as well? Just to see if it's a random fault or a mileage issue.
  2. tailgate strut, nearside rear damper, door seals. So far that's it! '15 plate vrs estate with 29k miles
  3. I've just done a similar route on my motorcycle, to fully enjoy the roads leave the dog at home drop into the nurburgring for a lap as well, it runs the new car in great, I did it with mine
  4. From my local main dealer £1700 for wheels only!! Gobsmacked was I! Lol!
  5. I notice my windows are more prone to misting up when I haven`t cleaned them in a while. Like the 2 posters above, give them a good clean and see how it goes
  6. The vRS is indeed a good Q car, especially a stage 1 mapped petrol Boy racer thinks he`s dealing with a 184bhp diesel but 300 of your finest horsepowers get unleashed to crush his ego lol! :D Mines not mapped tho :(
  7. I`ve not been impressed with my 001`s either, just got a pair of conti SC5`s and swapped the rears to the front to wear out. 12.5 k miles with just over 2mm left. Ready to also be tested in this fine Cumbrian weather Don`t know if anyone does but if you`re shopping for tyres check out kwick fits website, they did the conti SC5`s far cheaper than anywhere else inc ringing my local branch! £93 fitted etc for 18`s at the moment
  8. Double check theres nothing loose in any of the boot nooks and crannies, a workmate a few years ago had his car into the garage for an irritating knocking noise for them to fish out an errant golf ball lol!
  9. I could do with them sliding back a touch more and having the whole seat tilt as well, looks like the electric seats possibly have more adjustment. Can anyone confirm?
  10. I had a diesel for the past 7 years but when I test drove the Skoda the petrol engine was far better imo. I`m even getting between 35-40mpg and the engine is a peach, very flexible from 1k to 6500rpm. Looking on these forums as well the diesel seems to throw up more problems than the petrol. I`m very happy with my choice :sun:
  11. Probably cos you`re in Australia lol! :sun:
  12. Months up to press! stays on for up to 10 washes. I used it on my old Volvo and it was equally impressive
  13. What bloody good stuff it is! 2nd time I`ve used it on the vRS and the water runoff is excellent and lasts ages. Did a test with some Armor all wax compared to the shield on the bonnet and the shield lasts far better and beads faster! Why use anything else???
