  1. The trailer had rear steering which pushed the back out onto your side of the road a lot further than anyone could have expected apart from the lorry driver, a normal trailer won't have come over your side so far and there is no way you could tell with it coming towards you.
  2. I've disabled it via VCDs as it keep cutting out just as I wanted to pull away!
  3. I've got the Octavia Lauren & Klement 15 plate DSG with ACC, the car will bring you to a complete stop after a couple of seconds it then tells you to put your foot on the brake. If you don't after a couple more seconds the ACC is deactivated and it will release the brakes and start creeping forward. If the car has brought you to a stop but the traffic starts moving again before the warning has stopped and ACC is deactivated then the car will start moving forward again. Would be much better if it just held the car on the brakes for longer but unfortunately it doesn't. I still love my ACC though :-)
  4. I get specific instructions as to which tyre, got one this morning to advise 'rear passenger side tyre pressure warning' 2015 Octavia Lauren & Klement
  5. The cables from the monitors go into the car seat from the pole in the headrest but cannot find any holes at the bottom the seat in my skoda to take the cables, so I'm not sure the supplier is going to know how to get cables out the bottom of the chair but it's worth a try :-) Thanks
  6. I bought a couple of after market headrests with built in monitors for my Skoda Octavia Lauren & Klement III. I've taken the existing headrests out and can fit the new ones in but there doesn't appear to be any holes for me to take the cables out the bottom. Any advice appreciated. Thanks Simon
  7. It's the shortest in distance, not in time.
  8. There's another thread that says 'I think it either needs a sim card in the car itself or an Android phone that support RSAP (Remote Sim Access Protocol)' http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/391268-columbus-wifi-hotspot-internet/
  9. Blackvue does, just hold the button in for 10 secs and it formats SD card!
  10. 15 plate 2.0 TDI DSG Laurin and Klement 5 door, just passed 50k.
  11. Just wondering if you purchased these roof bars in the end and whether they are any good. Thanks Simon
  12. I've just completed the update without any issues, I actually did it with the engine running, started the update before I left for a couple of hour journey, then set off and it completed with 35 minutes. I guess the warning about not turning on the engine is during the process as it might cut out the radio but if you start it before beginning the process and leave it running appears to be fine. Just got to get round to getting the VCDS out and clear the errors.
  13. As per the subject is there any way to limit the car speed to the road speed limit as shown in Amundsen SatNav? Or do you know of any device that can be plugged into the car to do this? Failing that any advise on the best GPS Speed Camera alert device that alerts you whenever you go over the speed limit for the current road? I'm fully aware that the best speed limiter is my foot and the road signs on the road, but at the moment that doesn't seem to be working well! :-) The ACC does help a lot but looking for the best additional options to assist me. Thanks Simon
  14. Maybe just an option to extend the amount of time that the car will sit stationery before requiring you to put foot on brake, would just make it so much easier in start stop traffic on M25!
