Yeti bonnet latch switch.
Got to ask the question ... why are you using a multiple translated handbook (and likely not the correct one) for your Yeti instead of just downloading the correct one (using the vin) from Skoda UK, upshot .... correct handbook for the car., save a lot of anguish and it will have the correct operating information for your model year of Yeti 😕 https://www.skoda.co.uk/apps/manuals/Models Hope it helps if you read it! 🙂

1.2 TSI brake upgrade - help needed
Reading with interest. OP, You mention the brakes dont seem to retard the speed, and if you press harder then you start to get some retardation etc, Question, what type and spec of pads are you using? Sound like it may be "track pads or fast road pads or some type of performance pads" from someone like EBC (green, yellow, red, black.) IME these types of pads are not really suitable for road use, they generally need to be warmed and used very hard to get the "performance" the manufacturers claim and IMO, you cant really get that from just normal day to day driving, you will get squeel, glazed pads/discs and that worrying foot on the brake nothing happening sensation until you brake much harder ... why? thats the way they are designed. I dont know what pad and friction material you are using, but maybe its a step for a hint. Hope it helps 🙂

Drivers seat worn
Find a local car trimmer, these guys can work wonders and can usually match the original upholstery if it needs replaced or can just re foam as needed. Worth a search.🙂

Fabia III, Thule foot pack and fitting kit - Help
Thanks for that AGFalco, but that is the current updated kit for the Fabia (released in approx 2020.) I'm looking for the previous generation feet/fitting kits so I can possibly use some of my good condition "older" Thule components that I have accumulated over the years and are in my garage. 🙂

Fabia III, Thule foot pack and fitting kit - Help
Afternoon guys, normally I skulk in the Yeti forums, but my sons other half has bought a very nice 2015 Fabia III and needs some roofbars. Thule to their whims, have again decided to change/update their fitting kit/foot packs. Not really an issue if buying new, but I have a box in the garage full of older range fitting and foot kits I'd like to utilise if possible. So parking my ramble, can I ask any Fabia III owner/user of Thule roofbars please tell me the model numbers of their kit. Foot pack and fitting kit etc esp the "older range" ... the current Thule kit is Foot pack 7105(00) evo clamp, and (14)5250 fitting kit, none of these parts are interchangeable with the older range hence my request for info. Thanks in advance Robin 🙂

Goodbye to Yeti
As I said each to his own and while I would never own a Duster I also think the Puma's scores are awful albeit not quite as bad as the Duster and I wouldn't own one of them either. Shame on Ford, all that might and engineering prowess and they cant build a car with a front score of better than 75%, just my own thoughts and opinions. 🙂

Goodbye to Yeti
Each to his own Prezafab, but watch the crash test vids, and look at the driver survival percentage ... scary 😨
