It works well with the VAG 10Ltr and Redex 10Ltr containers, that's what I use, even on the X3 as well. Hope it helps 🙂

    Car covers

I have used these guys before for my Fiat Spider, I used the premium cover and it stood the test of time well and was an excellent fit, worth a look. https://www.carcoversfactory.co.uk/suv-covers/2016/skoda/yeti/all-body-types 🙂
  3. 🤣 and that applies to absolutely anything not just car components ... is there some specific soothsayer course that I should go on 🙃
  4. I understand the fears, re the pano roof, but they dont all leak ... ours is seven and a half years young, and we have never had any problems with the roof and its kept outside in all weathers, best to take a careful look ... plenty of threads detailing the tell tale signs and obviously they are the ones to avoid, IMO they are stunning cars and the L&K spec is spot-on for us. Just an opinion from a fault free owner 🙂
  5. Its all a very personal thing, dampers, tyres, brake pad compounds ,,, thats what makes us human rather than a computer simulation a'la Matrix! 🙂 Glad your satisfied with your result.
  6. Must admit I was never a fan of the GY EG tyres, maybe scottish roads as they seemed ok on the autobahn/autostrada surfaces,) but they were so, so noisey (road noise) they got binned early. 😟
  7. Wouldn't bet on that one, they should but the abilities of some dealerships leave a lot to be desired. Apathy/disinterest from the service department on older cars is one of them, thank goodness they are not all the same. Good luck😋
  8. To be honest it would be better if you started your own thread rather than hi-jack this very, very long one. The answer will also be easier for people to find rather than trawling through this one. 🙂
  9. Its all very personal and subjective, but IMO, they are always too hard in the front and too soft in the rear and they don't, last ... less than 20k'ish miles before they go soggy and walloway (is that a word?) My personal choice if you can get them are Koni, or Bilstein, but I have had very acceptable performance and longevity from both Sachs and Boge, but that's maybe just me. I've used all the mentioned brands (including the long gone Woodhead and SPAX) on most of my cars over the last 45'ish years of passionate tinkering on anything I have owned, so its just my opinion. 🙂
  10. Seemingly Sachs and Boge are now part of the ZF group, but here is the dampers link https://aftermarket.zf.com/en/aftermarket-portal/services-and-support/catalog/#/search?languageID=4&brandID=14,32&countryID=GB&vehicleTypeIDs=p&manufacturerID=106&modelID=8486&vehicleIDs=115192&searchField=vehicle&assemblyGroupIDs=1626,854,1180 I have never had an issue with Sachs or Boge replacements on previous VW's, but I have never been a fan of Monroe, not saying its bad kit, just not my flavour. Hope it helps,
  11. Sure its Sachs, that make the bulk of VAG dampers.
  12. Observing with great interest here, but one question re the MIB2STD, lots of talk on using 2 SD cards ... I thought the SD cards required to be Skoda original cards with the security permission (maybe wrong term used) folder/format sector. If so re the 2 card solution, does it require an additional horrendously expensive Skoda SD card or is there a work around or am I mistaken in my interpretation so far? Excellent work so far from all 🙂
  13. Personally I usually use Westfalia, but Brink/Thule are the same kit and is fairly good kit ... just not cheap. Dont forget to get your Yeti "programmed" so it knows it has a towbar so all the electrics and stability control works correctly.
