  1. Thanks for the reply, are the Turbo's prone to trouble in them?
  2. Hi, Have a deposit down on a 2014 1.2 Elegance with 80k on it, anything I should watch out for or check/fix when I get it next weekend? Thanks, Paul.
  3. Yes I have the same in my Toledo, it comes and goes, it does not seem to harm anything though, as tyres are all wearing evenly so it must be a "thing" with the Toledo and Rapid hatchback.
  4. There is definitely a sensor in there as it can tell what Temp the oil is at, so I'd say you will be ok once you do change the oil. The area around the filter you have to be careful as there are other pipes etc there.
  5. Strange so, maybe a sensor dirty or something, as when I change my oil/filter I just reset it on the MFD and it then stays off for another 15k km
  6. In my Toledo, I can reset the service indicator in the MFD display when the car is idle and the engine is on?
  7. Cheaper option for you, get an app on your Phone called VAG Dpf and buy a cheap OBD2 adaptor and then you can keep an eye on when the DPF needs a regen and then give it a good spin.
  8. Here in Ireland, my local tyre supplier has the national franchise for Aelous. He told me Aelous bought out Pirelli but I see its only their truck tyre side
  9. Yes the Tyre dealer I deal with here has the national franchise, they recently bought Pirelli so serious players. Look up reviews for other brand name tyres for 205/50 16, I will not be returning to 215/45 16 anyway.
  10. I have been using a tyre for the past few years that I bet none of ye have heard of "Aelous", great tyre and that's what I have on my Toledo now and also my wifes car, and my sister's car, and my Dad's car...... you get the drift
  11. Hi, I have a Toledo too and had the same issue with the Dunlop's 215/45 16 and the harsh ride. I tried everything and in the end went with advice from my Tyre dealer and swapped sizes to 205/50 16 and it has made a huge difference in the ride quality.
  12. If you want to turn them off until they sort the bulb, if its the same as the Toledo, then there is a switch in the fuse panel under the steering wheel that will turn them off.
  13. Mine is a 2013 car, the switch on the back unit is only on and off, no third setting?
  14. The back seat courtesy light in my Toledo is weird. If I turn it on it stays on when I drive off and does not act the same as the front one that lights and goes off with the doors. Anyway of setting the rear lights to act the same as the front lights?
  15. Have a look under the front wheel arch as there is a panel that pops out that gives you better(ish) access to change the bulbs.
