Hello guys. I have skoda laura ( Octavia mk2) Firstly, in our india skoda octavia mk2 is named as skoda laura. We have laura 2008 model TDI 1.9 PD Manual transmission. It covered about 130k kilometers in odo meter. Once my car started giving too white smoke and few oil leaks on standing at cold start after a long journey before this happened. Local skoda dealers said that bad injector is reason. After somedays i had given some throttle/ accelerated on still 5min cold start and at 3500 rpm out of 5k a sound comes and engine get dead immediately. And all oil get leaked. We found 2 holes in oil samp not in engine block. And we put inside a camera in oil samp without opening it. Here some pics.... I think only my oil samp have 2 holes not in block. But it is required to change block of engine? Or not? I didn't find any holes or crack in block from outside. But bosch mechanic refuses to open my engine or he didn't want to repair. He just said us to order full engine block and fix it. How he judged that block break and change it? Without opening? But in my way im not rich. So there is any way to fix old block. There is no break from outside. I didn't find any brocken rod in oil samp. Just found some small pieces. Let me know does we fix block? Or change ?

Brother my car also giving blue smoke on start noo way! I cleaned my injectors.... But not the solution... It is due to low compression bro... I knew there a leak in gasket or incase piston rings or bent...

Ohh, thanks for a idea . Let me go garage tomorrow. I update further.

Finallt fixed. Its oil cooler . Becuz no way here to mixing oil with coolant

There is any hopeful to be fixed? I think it is low compression :( But car sounds nice after to warm up! But exhaust smokes like a inburn diesel :/ Give me a solution please

Hello, im sam. I have skoda Octavia mk2 TDI,PD,MANUAL transmission. Few days ago, my son washing my car engine. But unfortunately water entered at turbo hose pipe . Then we tried to start the car. It's crappy and vibration and bad noises. Next day we try to start it started again with alot of white-blue smoke from exhaust. Local mechanic said that injector number.4 clogged. So he said to fill injector cleaner. Within few hours i fill my tank with 10$ fuel but unfortunately at fuel station filler man put whole bottle in tank. It was horrible, but we cant do anything, till now we are using car with that mixture fuel. Now car smokes alot and misfires littles after to start. After When temperature get normal smoke stops. There is any reason? Does full bottle of injector cleaner cause any problem on not much fuel?

When i bought this car secondhand 4 weeks latar i see a tape in rpm meter tape like dashboard tape I went to a near bosch garage and opens the meter and scratch to tape after fix in it and plug the battery Showing steering light or airbag light Help me how to fix And put a bosch kts512 scanner and scan showing there are no result to see How to fix i want to your advice Cheers
