Hi people, Im probably trying my luck, but did anyone figured out how to fix it? It started doing same thing on my 69 plate superb now 😂🙈 it’s on, its off , it’s on its off.. i can’t figure out what to do with it. I didn’t use the nav on my vc often, but when I used it in the past it always worked. Since Monday it’s 50/50. What’s weird my superb went to skoda for recall just 2 weeks ago.. I guess it’s just coincidence lol

I bought it online, paid for it cash, but then I went to collect.. so all my fault I guess.. saying so I wouldn’t notice the broken part even if i would be looking at the engine bay when collecting the car. It’s newish car with few k on it. Never would I think that something like that is possible without visible damage to the car from outside. Also paying those money, buying from dealer.. I thought everything is spot on and if not they would take the car back.. how wrong I was..it’s definitely eye opening for me

Yeah I played with my old mk2 vrs long time ago too. I’m just looking at these new to me superbs and thinking so much toys inside equal many possible troubles when doing anything on it 😂🙈 may I ask you why did u take it off so many times 😀? Thx for everything. Really appreciate it.

JR RS, this is really great guidance pal thank you. May I ask you if you remember what tools you used, how long it took to do it and if you broke anything else just in case i would need new rivets etc pal? I don’t have space to do it where I’m at the moment but I will do it in end of July in my second home so I want to be ready for it. I don’t trust garages much (bad experiences) so I prefer to do it myself. Doesn’t look so difficult with your detailed guide. Saying so it’s more to do than I thought 😂🙈. I will post back when I’m on it 😂 I hope I won’t break anything 🤞

That is another option. I will definitely look in to it too. Thank you. Saying so, I’m leaning towards the genuine part what Langers2k showed me. I’m able to speak czech language and found few headlights with same issue in Czech Republic and people fixed those with the genuine parts and it seems to be working

Also the plastic trim is not clicked in properly on the bottom so someone hit something. The brackets are made of chocolate then!

Sorry, there is one hairy scratch on side of the wing and the lower bit of the front bumper seems to take some hit too. There is deep scratch on the bottom of the bumper which I can’t see on pictures from dealer.

I can’t see that. There is light scratch on side of the bummer. So the bracket was broken already when dealer took the car in and they have missed it on inspection or something happened between the dealership or on the way back from service. I have seen video from service by the dealer and you can’t really say if there was any damage because the way how they done the video. Since the service the car done only 9 miles till I picked up. My garage guy looked at it yesterday and he said it definitely had light impact but he couldn’t say if the wing was changed coz it doesn’t look like. I’m not happy to say the least. My stupidity to trust Stoneacre in first place. I will definitely look in to the bracket repair kit tho. I just hope the additional bracket are in one piece coz I have long drive front of me before I will be able to take off the bumper and look at it properly. Btw does anyone know how difficult is to take off the bumper please. Thank you all.

Well I have found some used damaged headlight on eBay and looking at the pictures of the headlight it seems like one part. I can’t see any screws for the bracket on the light

Hello helpful people. I bought recently Skoda Superb MK3 FL 2019 with led headlights and recently noticed that one of the mounting bracket is snapped. I have contacted dealer about it but they are washing their hands off and don’t want to fix it or hear anything about it because I should check the car before collecting. They are basically saying I have done it. I drove the car for about 300 miles and never hit anything. I Never checked the engine bay to be honest because the headlight is working and doesn’t seems to have even scratch on. Car has 12k on the clock. I bought the car for cash and it was long time saving. I paid £22k for the car not even 2 weeks ago just to be told that I need new headlight because the bracket is part of the unit. It could cost me up to £1k to fix that. Is there another way how to deal with it please. Thank you for any help in advance
