I ordered my 1.6 TDI at the start of December. Picked it up last Saturday. It arrived at the dealer on the Thursday. PDI etc just took a day. Took just under 6 weeks in total.

I put an order through today for 1.6 TDI. 8 weeks is what I've been told. Worst case scenario 12.

Bit the bullet and put my order in for the Race Blue today in the 1.6 TDI.

Did you plump for the White in the end Shea? I'm torn between the Candy White, Black or Race Blue. Haven't seen many of the Blue around Dublin.

I'm torn between the Race Blue, Black or possibly the Candy White. The Race Blue above looks superb. Also, the Race Blue does not seem as common over here in Ireland as it does in the UK.

By this, it is the equity built up in the car minus the GMFV. Which are very close in reality so the deposit would be miniscule. Any here one go this route for finance? My suspiscions of being too good to be true may be correct.

I imagine the deposit carried over is the difference between the trade-in value and the GMFV. Effectively the baloon payment is paid off and the left over is used for new deposit?

Hi, I am looking at the Octavia 1.6 Diesel 90BHP. The salesperson did not mention anything about the VW group emissions issues. I wouldn't have thought that this will affect future tax liabilities though.

Hi guys, Looking at trading in my 08 Fabia for a new Octvia on PCP Finance. A little confused regarding the GMFV though. Is this the value that is used as the deposit for the next PCP agreement? Or is it the market value/trade-in value minus the GMFV? The salesmen also said that mileage would not be factored in unless handing keys back. Wondering if anyone here went this route for Finance and had any idae about this? Cheers,

I was wondering if anyone knew where to order these? It's the little cover on the passenger side where the wing mirror switch would be on the driver’s side. Mine has disappeared completely. I think maybe some over exuberant shutting of the passnger door may have knocked it out. I have been unable to track one down online. Don't even know the name TBH. Cheers, D
