Octavia II 1.6 TDI on HVO100 Diesel

I have the same question. -

To my horror I found some rust emerging just behind front left wheelhouse. Is there an easy fix for this, or will it require serious work to get it handled?

Disasemble back seat heating console
BjornE replied to BjornE's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)

I'm planing to add USB between the two back seat heating buttons. It was quite easy to remove the big part with the ash tray. Now I need to disassemble the last part without breaking anything. I have identified left and right lower "holders" but I really can't see how the upper part is connected to the "frame". Any ideas on how to remove the "button plate"? Where to buy correct front wiper arm?
BjornE replied to BjornE's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
1.6 TDI Station Wagen 2012. -
I need a new wiper arm for the front windshield (driver position). I have bought two already, but both are missing the grooves of the original where it is fastened to the car and the diameter of the pin, holding the blade, is just too large. Where can I find one that will fit? /Björn

Engine heater connector blocks change of daytime running lights.

I noticed that the engine heater connector on my car is fastened to the plastic detail on the inside of the lamp assembly where the daytime running lights sits. This plastic detail needs to be removed in order to change this lamp. Is this the correct place to put the heater connector? Is there an alternative way of changing the daytime running lights? I have no problem removing the plastic detail on the right side.

I have an Octavia II from 2012-05 with Amundsen+. I called the authorized shop and asked what they wanted for the 2015 map (W Europe) upgrade. They told me that the small SD card costs $656!!! Is there any other place I can get this upgrade for a more reasonable price? /Björn
