Hey Guys, Right im in desperate need of some magic briskoda help!!!!! I recently purchased a skoda MFD DX, and i've fitted it witha plug and play adaptor.............it all seems to be working correctly, BUT the sat nav won't pick up any satelites, it did briefly near the begining bu then that was it..... Is it to do with the position of the gps antenna within the car. Myns on the ledge above the unit, behind the row of buttons (that has your rear window heater on it). Any suggestions guys would be great, it's really starting to **** me off!!!!!!

Hi guys, Ive purchased a VW MFD2 sat nav unit to install into my fabia...............Ive bought all the relevant connectors and everything and wired it up myself (because they arent really compatible with each other), and it works but there is a input on the mfd2 that is called "safety" i havent got a clue whats its for, so i just left it and as the system loaded up and i entered the pin it then said "safety unplugged"...........If any one has any experience with this kind of stuff and can think what it is, id be VERY grateful for any info?? well i've managed to find a sat nav MFD RNS 2 system for £350 which im willing to spend, but im just worried about its compatibility with the fabia. Can it be done? If so what connectors e.t.c will i need?

Hey, i've been looking into try to get a factory sat nav system for my 2001 fabia elegance 1.4 16V, I've come across units for the octavia (SKODA NAVIGATION SYSTEM MFD RNS 2), I was just wonder whether there is anyway to get it to fit into the fabia???
