Hi, I never found the amplifier - it's a mystery!

Thanks Alasdair1 Yes, the Fabia also has a small circuit board built into the roof aerial base - but only one aerial connection. The back of the radio has two aerial cables inputs. I'm trying to find out where the second cable goes. Thanks

Interesting read this. I had parasitic drain on my 2013 Fabia and the auto electrician was scratching his head until he pulled the Swing radio out and it did the trick. I've purchased a used Swing radio from a scrap yard and fitted it yesterday so carrying out a voltage level check on the battery today to see if ok now. Always wondered why there are two Fakra aerial outputs from the radio but only one at the roof aerial base only to discover there's a separate signal amplifier somewhere that I can't find - picture here:

Still trying to locate this aerial amplifier on the Fabia. There are two aerial cables connected to the back of the radio, but only one on the roof aerial - so I'm assuming the other goes to this, but I can't find it. Can anyone help? Thanks

Hello everyone, I've removed my Swing radio due to it being identified as the culprit of my battery parasitic drain :( The car has always suffered from poor FM reception and I wondered why there are two Fakra connections at the radio but only one at the roof aerial. Has anyone any experience of this? Thanks
