Hello everyone, I've removed my Swing radio due to it being identified as the culprit of my battery parasitic drain :(

The car has always suffered from poor FM reception and I wondered why there are two Fakra connections at the radio but only one at the roof aerial.

Has anyone any experience of this? Thanks

I recently purchased a 64plate and had poor FM reception, I ran VCDS and it said that the antenna was open circuit.
They suffer from corrosion so opened it up to see if I could save it but was too far gone, £5 for a 2nd hand one from the breakers (from a Polo) and all fixed.
The 2nd Fakra connector will go to the small amplifier module which could be your issue - you need to scan it first!
