The F before the final numbers is 2015 model year.
My VIN has a G which is 2016 model year, even though the car was built in July 2015 and registered in Sep 2015.
A useful tool is to put the Skoda service app onto your phone or tablet, enter the VIN and it shows the production date.

If its the TSi 110 you have, mine was a bit tappety from a cold start. But now its loosening up at 1800 miles its very quiet now.
Check the oil is topped up to max.
They are timing belt now, so no chain rattle. Belt change is at 7 years I think.
