  1. To all members of briskoda,

if your near st athan and need work done... i run a workshop with a 40ft pit that i will happily make room for your car for servicings, rectifications and fault finding.

Also have an autel maxi pro to diagnose all obd, abs, sas, etc and can do dpf regens.

I get trade trade prices on tyres and parts from local motor factors and local tyre shop.

If your interested just let me know and we can sort a date out to get you and your car in.

  2. Hate it when that happens.

I work next door to to an aircraft breakers yard and the amount of bolts, shards of metal, sheets of metal that i have picked up is unbelievable.

Im amazed i have not had a puncture yet.

Yet to have mine fitted, but cant wait to get the powerflex fitted, and the RARB!

it does make a decent difference to the handling, Its hard to explain but its like the back of the car is following the front and there's no body roll.

  4. Theres a brand out now which we fit quite a few of called laufenn. There made by hankook and i have asked the people who are running them and have had nothing but good reviews.

I spoke to celtic tyres near us who told me that laufenn tyres use last years tread pattern from the hankook range and at £40 a tyre for 205 40 17 i shall be buying a set when my current tyres need replacing.

Excuse the mess around the power flex bushes.

    My bottle of wd40 exploded.

Need to pull my finger out and get some 312 front brakes sorted.

Remember that I only have a hatchback car ;)

I will have to see what I can do

I think you should take a trailer over to poland, buy a few rear axles and start a small business sorting all of us mk2 tdi owners out ;)

thank you bud. the problem is that all i need is just the axle on it's own. I have everything else. Suspenssion, discs, brake lines, pads, calippers etc etc...So not point me paying so much just to get an axle and the faf around with selling everything else

Very good point. No point in having duplicates of everything. Is anyone breaking a vrs near you?

Great looking Furby.  Alloys (colour/design) really suit the car.  It NEEDS green calipers :)

    Thanks :)

I was thinking about different colour calipers. Have been reading a bit on the 312mm brake upgrade so will wait to re-paint untill i decide where im going with the front brakes.

I cant paint the rear anything but black as i have drums.
