YellowSnow replied to YellowSnow's topic in Diagnostics & VCDS

Hi, I recently got a hold of VCDS and I managed to code staging no problem yesterday yet today i tried to change the comfort indication from 3 to 5 clicks. It works perfectly until i lock and unlock my car and then the codes seem to reset? I'd appreciate any help you guys have! Also would anyone know why i would be getting the error, no response from controller when trying to access the central convenience? I'm driving an '09 FL Octavia

How did you get it out?

Oh cool! Having upgraded from my 2000 Nissan Micra there recently i've been finding a lot of things are done much more differently now! Retrofits are way harder/expensive now because of all the coding involved!

My understanding is the chirps come from the noise of the relay itself.

Just to add I've an android phone as well as an iPhone and both 'Hey Siri' and 'Ok Google' work perfectly. Cant vouch for the SD slot though as i don't use it now i have the Dension unit.

Hi Neilly, Yep just plug and play though i dont have steering wheel controls. Yep for the bolero there's no coding required which is great. Yep it downloads your phonebook and all. I just bought the unit (Pro Bluetooth) from the dension website. it'll as you for your car make and it'll tell you what is compatible with the head unit. Made this wee video today to hopeful show it to you better.

Not sure what you went for in the end but i'm just after fitting a Dension BT Pro to the bolero in my FL non-maxidot octavia and everything works perfectly without any coding.
