so I went to top up the gas as the first step but didnt check further for leak. it has been cold for a week. may i ask what repair did you carry out? what are the steps to detect where the leak is at?

Yup i replaced with brand new cabin filter to eliminate it as an issue. I have done a physical check of both left and right side. Here are two videos. (sped up) Left side (passenger side) - no cold air. it can give me hot air at 29.5c and at HI. but i dont see the actuator moving Right side (driver side) - 80% of the time has cold air. but definitely not quite according to the temperature of the dial. it can give me hot air at 29.5c and at HI. is it conclusive the aircon issues are only due to the actuators? how do i change out the actuator on the left?

Set dial from LO all the way to 27C gave me the same actual values. It doesn’t even change throughout the change in dial temperature. When i increased the dial to 28c, the actual value starts to change When I turn all the way to HI, it peaked at these values. I was able to see increases in the actual value from a range of numbers from 40+ to 230. what else should i do using VCDS?

I scanned with vcds but there are no HVAC fault codes. What else can I do to verify the cause? Any use for measuring values in vcds?

Hi all, I have a 2016 Octavia MK3 (right-hand drive) and the aircon isn’t blowing cold on the passenger side (left vents). Driver side is cold as expected. Cabin filter has been changed Recalibration done using Climatronic buttons When I set both sides temperature to below 22c, even LO, only driver side is cold If I set passenger side to HI, it blows hot air But when I go back to LO, sometimes it doesn’t bring back cold air — feels like room temp. Sometimes turning off the engine and starting again later seem to make the Aircon work. Could this be a faulty blend door actuator that’s getting stuck when trying to switch back to cold? Has anyone had similar symptoms? And does anyone know the correct part number for the passenger-side actuator in a RHD MK3? Appreciate any advice!

Recently thought the suspension was due for replacement with clunking knocking sound. But sound persisted after changing suspension, lower control, bushings, linkage rod. Ultimately it was the 3 engine mountings replacement that fixed the problem. Engine mounting Gearbox mounting Pendulum support

When replacing engine mount, which is a 3 piece set, do I need to replace the 2 rubber bushing/ dogframe submount?
