Can you tell me what your build week was please... before I get too excited!!

..... just wish I could 'follow' my car like DPD parcels.... but maybe its best not to know every detail sometimes!!!

Just an update on my 'build week 33' Karoq.. Spoke to the the dealer this morning (they really are the most helpful people ever!!) and it has been built but not shipped.. waiting for this elusive chip apparently! He said when he gets a 'code 38' then he know it has been shipped. He also said that he gets a list of cars where there will definitley be a delay and mine wasn't on it, so that is good news I suppose. So the latest is a probable delivery date of early to mid October... Hope this info helps anybody in the same situation...

can somebody just confirm for me that these are the correct size for a 21 Karoq Edition? many thanks.

I wonder why they are saying the Editon is no longer available.. maybe its just because the waiting list is so unpredictable now they don't want the hassle.. When I ordered mine, my car dealer said I may have to wait 5 months, but if I wanted to compromise on specification it would be about 8 - 10 weeks.. I considered this and whilst doing so he said he knew of another dealer that had ordered my spec (Edition, DSG, Petrol Blue/Beige Leather Interior/Heated windscreen) and was going to attempt to do a swap with him with the one he had coming.. successfully. I think I was just lucky.. but maybe ask me that when it doesn't turn up at the end of September.... !!

.... I should add, when I say he let me choose my registration plate, I do mean only the last three letters obvs!!!!

Thanks VRT24 - My dealer did actually phone me on Saturday to say that he has had a confirmation of the build in week 33, which was last week (I presumed it was anyway!) and this is a 'good thing'.. So he thinks we are still on for the end of September.. He even let me choose my registration plate.. Very disappointed they didn't have my actual initials. !!

Oh I really want these updates - I have never had them.... any idea how I go about it please.. Many thanks.

...... and (finally), the most important things to me were the Edition model, colour (Petrol Blue) and the beige Leather upholstery which is what this car on order had.. Cannot wait to post a picture when it finally arrives..

........ and in fairness, if I had ordered all the 'bells and whistles' that I wanted I was told that the wait could be as long as five months.. So I shall (in time) get things like the Virtual Cockpit/fancy boot opening thingy/ etc etc retro fitted once I have the car..

I ordered on 2nd August, but it was one of these that the garage already had on order. although when I asked yesterday what stage it was at he said it was 'just a piece of paper currently'.. I really do not understand this whole process, but the dealership are amazing and trust them completely..

Apologies if I have put this on the wrong thread... I have ordered a new Karoq Edition.. I have been told the build week is week 33... Any idea (with this in mind) when I will actually get the car? I should know the process by now but have forgotten.. Many thanks.

sorry to gatecrash, especially as I haven't anything helpful to say....... but I am sitting here patiently awaiting my new Karoq Edition (end of September??) so am using my time wisely reading the whole of the Karoq forum!! I am really confused by the whole updating of the maps etc... I have had a Fabia 3 for since 2015 and before that a Superb Mk1 and never had to update anything.. Is this new to the Karoq/Skoda? I tend to use Apple Car Play without any problem - is this still going to be the case? Many thanks in advance.
