  1. what part was installed before it?
  2. I am fighting Skoda to change it FOC, but it seems that I am losing the battle. If no success, I'll change it on my cost during next regular service appointment in February
  3. Battle continues it seams that they have understood that wrong part was installed by workshop But never the less, they have confirmed that part is wrong. Now I just need to battle them to exchange it FOC.
  4. Just confirmed from Skoda factory, the part is intended for 1.5 TSI
  5. ....yeap, I have made mistake it is DF not BF.... but it is a factory mistake anyway.
  6. @varooom Rumbling is heard and plastic inside the cabin resonates @1500-2000 rpm. It is much more pronounced when outside is hot or when the engine compartment is warmed up. In the same time unpleasant vibrations can be felt in gas-power pedal. In the winter, the first 15 km are perfectly quiet. In the summer is total disaster. Since there is a brown stain I thought that mount has leaked.... but it seams that the mount is wrong one and that rubber properties of the mount are not intended for the type of diesel engine vibrations. At following picture is the motor mount of friends Kodiaq 2.0 DSG TDI 4x4 150 HP 3Q0 199 262 E
  7. Hi friends, I am owner of Skoda Kodiaq 2019 2.0 TDI DSG FWD. Due to the stain at the motor mount I have addressed to Skoda official garage. In that moment Skoda garage has identified that the original part (which was installed by Skoda factory ) is not the part which is found in catalog for Kodiaq that I have. I have placed change/repair on hold until I solve this doubt. The originally installed part is 5Q0 199 262 BF (see attached picture). Could someone confirm the claim that this part ( 5Q0 199 262 BF ) is not intended for my Kodiaq? Could someone take a look under the hood and check the part number? I have found that Kodiaq 2.0 TDI DSG FWD 150hp should have motor mount with part number: 3Q0 199 262 E Any thoughts?
  8. There is no more grinding in left when turning left.
  9. Kodiaq MY2019, LED headlights. Headlight at right side has some colored spot in the area where LED beam is going through. Headlight at left side has become a bit blurry wherever the ED beam has shining through. My warranty has expired last year. Can I get replacement of the affected parts? is there a claim like "the ife expectancy of the part should be much longer"... or so?
  10. Good! But take care, those bolts must be replaced after dismounting or releasing the tension. Could you make picture of actual state of the screws-mount?
  11. The final-last update. Problem is solved. NO NOISE ANY MORE! Very long story in short: I have made sound recordings in parts of the chassis with electronic stethoscope. The proper Test report documentation (with recordings) was sent to Skoda. My conclusion was that sound comes from DSG mount. After that, 3 weeks silence. No call, no email response...nothing from Skoda. Last Monday I got a call from my garage with appointment for Wednesday. Thy have exchanged the DSG mount. New installed part is from VW Tuaran. Old part (Skoda): 5QA 199 555 AK New part (VW): 5QA 199 555 C
  12. No. 😞 I have started doubting that noise is coming from Electronic steering rack. I have heard that there was a technical issue with it until 3rd quarter of 2019. Very soon I'll start with recording of sounds inside chassis components with multichannel electronic stethoscope This is something what Skoda should of done long before, maybe did, but I couldn't find this info. My workshop wanted to do it (that was instruction of Skoda importer of my country), but instead of that they have tried to put some rubber-metal weight on left drive shaft (instruction of Skoda factory) but without success - noise was still there. They left me waiting for Skoda's final word - solution (probably ma death comes much earlier ) So I have decided to do it by my self, introduce some science, to track and record the source of noise and stop with guesswork.
  13. Officially, TPI with DSG SW update is not applicable at my DQ380. Skoda said that they never heard before about this issue with FWD and DQ380 They will call me if they find solution.
  14. As more information collected are, sooner the problem will be solved. I would like if more members with this problem are involved in solution search... but yes, it is easier to wait for official solution Additional info, it is also confirmed that in this TPI only SW update is applied. The change of DSG mount is not prescribed as following measure. My impression after hundreds of pages of several forums about this topic have read, it is not issue with DSG or DSG-mounts or of any other part. If it is so, Skoda would know about problematic LOT numbers and would correct it before car is produced, but Skoda really has no clue what the cause of problem is. In fact, this problem occures sporadicaly without any rule. This leads me to think that it is a human mistake in assembly process or maybe to high tolerances in assembly proces (bigger tolerances -> faster car assembly). Does anyone know, does Skoda have separate production lines for Kodiaq/Karoq/Superb/....? For people willing to pay, this official/legal link could be very usefull. https://erwin.skoda-auto.cz/erwin/showHome.do
  15. TPI: 2056198/3 vom 4.12.2019 Source: https://www.skoda-kodiaq-forum.de/index.php?thread/620-dsg-geräusche/&postID=78329#post78329
  16. Nope, waiting https://www.skoda-kodiaq-forum.de/index.php?thread/620-dsg-geräusche/&pageNo=35
  17. One just solved in Germany. A DSG SW update resulted with NO improvement and after that the gearbox mount is replaced. No more noise. The gearbox mount is not replaced with same part number but with "new designed" part.
  18. from December '19 is available DSG update regarding this noise. After update, noise is still there but with lower intensity.
  19. Front assembly, mounting point behind right wheel. it is shifted to outside 5-8mm. The washer must be in center of holed, but it is not.. At left wheel (driver side) it is moved to inside (same direction) but not more than 4mm. My conclusion is that the front assembly is angled to chassis. If this can affect out problem, I don't know, but the Camber of front wheels is not same. One wheel is more angled than other.
  20. Two Kodiaqs, after applying SW patch as grinding noise solution, has returned the noise back after few days. Not completely, but again audible.
  21. Hmmm, interesting. My service told me that it is SW update of transmission. whatever it is... the question is, are they masking the problem with SW, or really doing soemething.
  22. I wrote the letter of complaint, directly to Skoda factory. One of the complaint was the grinding noise. Then (after 10 days), the Skoda customer service forwarded my complaint to car importer of my country, who contacted me and explain that Skoda has prepared and tested a SOFTWARE solution for this issue. Affected part with SW update is the gearbox. Since this problem is present at DQ500, DQ381 and DQ380, only thing that is SAME is XDS+, so I think it is this system which cause the problems. If it is so, this is a good news because XDS is driven with ABS and is not the mechanical part of DSG. I am still waiting to get time slot in workshop for this "fix". We shall see, I also examine the possibility that caliper of the left front wheel brake is a bit stuc or not lubricated enough. The reason of my doubt is that front left braking disk is more worn than right one.
