Was told three yrs ago it needed replacing but it never was because it’s worked ok since failing the battery test at its 3yr service. It now needs replacing

Not going to pay local dealer in Bristol £268 for a new AGM battery, recommendations please for an alternative that will work without it having to be coded,Superb 2014 2.0 TDI 140 bhp many thanks

Just renewed my 2 year service package with skoda. Noticed it's now called an oil service not a minor service. Why the change in terminology and what does it actually mean. ?

ive had my 2014 superb 2.0tdi se manual . since 06/2015 it had 13k on the clock when i bought it, on its1st run to the north east from bristol the maxi dot said 74mpg now that was an almost perfect run 60mph in cruise hardly had to change gear, Ramp it up to 70 and your looking at low 60,s mpg, i didnt believe the computer but sure enough i refilled when i got there and it was as near as dam it, well impressed

my 2014 36k mk2 has failed the dreaded battery test and my local dealer can replace it for only 280 ish , question where can i get the appropriate battery from and coded in to the car for a reasonable price ??

When i bought my 14 plate superb from the main dealer it was 13 months old and the mileage was 13500 i was told it was on variable servicing and would tell me when it would require servicing, sure enough in dec 15 it hit 18 000k and was serviced ( interim) by the main dealer, roll on to Nov 17 and at 36 000k it called again for service, ( major) , I was advised that it should now be serviced every 20 000 miles or 2 years but should be inspected at 12 month intervals ???? is it variable servicing or not what is the way to go, different main dealers giving conflicting advice and now i'm not sure they know what they are on about?anybody out there got any good advice

The rust is where there should be silver paint which is flaking off. Obviously made to a price but not good.

Got a 2014 superb a litle disappointed that my front and rear discs are corroding really badly . In comparison my 2005 Saab were almost rust free. Is this normal or just a sign of things to come.?
