Wouldnt worry! Mine are loose or gone I dont pay attention to them!! Crap splits easily!

Like above the 2010+ bumpers will not fit due to facelift.
Try silver lake auto in Southampton (not far from Bournemouth) as they might have a pre-facelift fab there you can get a bumper off.
Its a fiddly job but not impossible. Hardest part is the bolts on the top corners of the bumper holding them to the wheel arch.

@Eddie-NL - I had an Octavia / Superb wheel fitted to my elegance as the airbag was the same as my stock wheel. I have tagged Eddie who is quite clued up on wheels as he fitted mine and made the custom loom to convert it from non mfsw to one that can.

If you take the side panel off to the right of the fuse box there is the main dash / car structure support. I believe there is a grounding spot in there.

Remember to download "Honey" for chrome it is a promotion code add on!! I use it on Euro and GSF all the time
My flashing coil light was caused by a going faulty DPF pressure sensor but over time it then went to a EML.

This is a good thread!! Interested to hear how this turns out

Have a look at old RNS315 (Amundsen+) installation posts for pre facelift fabias as they have the same problem of battery drain due to canbus.

Its not leaking so I doubt it will fail but you might get a minor advisory due to dust cover incomplete stopping ingress of dirt. Bit like when you have a CV boot split. Could always get a garage to look at it before the MOT ?

Offski knows his stuff on these engines! Flashing EML when booting it is a common sign of spark / coil pack issues!

Halfords LED suck balls!! Have a look at autobeam.

Best get it scanned and looked at by a VW specialist or reputable dealer. Sounds odd though! Its easy to check the air filter as its only a few screws to remove it.

There is a skoda unit from ebay which has apple car play. RCD330 (skoda)
Quite a few have had them fitted on the monte carlo facebook page!

Well that knocking on the video sounds like a spun bearing / bent con rod. A lifter wouldn't make that much noise! Check the cam belt like everyone else said but also might be worth getting a garage to remove to sump and get them to check your con rod bearings / con rods for excessive play / bending!
I'm only saying that because the video you posted is quite severe.

LED DRL are simple plug and play, the nightrider thing will need to be wired to ground and battery with a inline fuse, then run a switch into your cabin which is a bitch btw but you send the cable through the grommet for the bonnet release catch.

Get usb ones not cig lighter. Wire up a 12v-5v dual USB into the pos and neg of your radio harness and wire them behind the dash! Thats what I did for mine
This will also mean it will run on ignition power not constant live like the ciq socket is.

The yeti / a3 intercooler is a common upgrade too! Alot cheaper than 500+

The portal is for the new sat nav units on the latest vehicles. Its best to get the latest MAP SD off of ebay. (link below) they are alot cheaper than the stealers (300 quid or so for one) it will take a while to update but even if you turn the car off overnight and then on again in the morning it will continue but I don't recommend that. I left the engine running on the driveway updating.
I am guessing you have the SkodaAuto Amundsen+ (aka rsn315)

Yes the Diamond cut Gigaros already have some signs of lacquer peel and corrosion, as well as some rim damage due to kerbs etc. I was considering getting the refurbished or doing something different with them.
Love the grey but prefer the design of the gigaros! Get them refurbished in anthracite grey!

unplug it! Mine is a constant live I believe they all are
