  1. My clock is set for GMT + 0h (normal UK GMT) then Summer (DST) selected. When the ignition is on the time is correct. Lock the car and on return just turn the radio on with no key in the ignition. The time shown is 1 hour in advance?
  2. It's being used as a Private Hire Vehicle, so protection is needed.
  3. Anyone recommend some reasonably priced tailored seat covers for the 2016 MKIII hatch? Thanks.
  4. Yes, screen goes off and if phone connected gives a reminder to take it. Got back to car and it's unticked, got to be a bug?
  5. Tried many times and the same key. Sitting here now experimenting and it when you fully lock the car and then re open. The tick mark has not been retained. All other options remember the tick box, as expected.
  6. As per the title, when I select this option it works ok, however after turning the ignition off, that tick option is not saved and therefore you have to always select this again if needed. Is this by design or a bug? Thanks.
  7. Having needed to change both my 12v socket fuses, I agree that the manual explanation is pants. When releasing the two top tabs up so that the box can drop the whole left brake mechanism fell off from it's side retainer :( After some puzzle work I got it back on to the side mount, align and then twist to lock. The gog wheel also fell out. I then looked at the arm fitting to the drop down box. It's a push in\out slide type hole. See my photos. Hope that this helps.
  8. Steering wheel as above fitted and the right scroll wheel works great now. Next issue that's just started. The left front sensor is intermittently activating when nearing traffic? I think I'll consider an extended warranty at 3 year old if these are some of the potential electrical issues, three so far. The stop start also at times can be a pain, where it stops far too early, sometimes even when still rolling up to traffic. OFF BUTTON is now well used and put on if I think I'll be waiting a while.
  9. Update: It has been confirmed that the scroll wheel is defective and a new steering wheel control board has to be ordered under warranty. Booked in for next Monday 19th Feb 18.
  10. Just got my DSG Superb and it cuts out far too soon and I've also noticed it stops when you are still moving slowly. I'll no doubt get used to it but the button may get pressed.
  11. Picked up my 2016 Superb 2.0 TDi 148bhp SE Business DSG yesterday with 12,075 mile recorded. Touch screen prior to pickup had a software update to resolve the screen not responding when at freezing temperatures. Sadly another fault found on the way home, the Maxi-Dot scroll wheel not responding well to select the icons. Calling Skoda in the morning. :(
  12. Another potential issue. Grrrrr. The Maxi-Dot scroll wheel is not very responsive to the dash screen display. You scroll and the menus do not move, then if you scroll faster there is movement but not accurate. Anyone else had this issue? Is it the scroll wheel cluster of again software? Another phone call tomorrow to my local Skoda dealership.
  13. The screen is working but the temperature is about 6°C. I'll check it when we are at freezing. This is my system information screen after an update?
  14. I've been assured that the car has been to the Skoda dealership and had the software updated. I'm finalising the deal and picking the car up later today and will let you know. Thanks.
  15. Hello all, not been on since I sold my last Superb and have now left a holding deposit on a Jan 2016 (65) Superb 2.0 (150) SE Business saloon in silver with a low 12075 mile. However as the title, prior to my test drive when trying to use the screen myself and the salesperson could not get any of the on screen buttons to work and it would not swipe, only the rotation wheel worked but again you could not select. We drove off and after about 5 minutes the screen eventually came into life. I know now from reports on here that it was the cold and damp causing the issue and due to the heating it works when the temperature increased. Their cry from them was as it's under warranty, to book it in at Skoda and it will be fixed. I'm a bit long in the tooth now and told them for me to pay the balance it will have to be resolved as I had no intentions of initially spending time visiting Skoda dealerships in my own time to resolve that issue. Sadly it also has a weird issue with the drivers sun visor. Adjacent to the mirror where the ticket holder is the material has been melted! At least it's hidden when the visor is up. Again they said it would be under warranty! Yea, someone has used the visor when closed to hold a device where the battery has got hot. They said that they will try and replace it? I personally hate it when car dealerships spin the sale with blatant untruths to get their final sale. It's a beautiful car but with a couple of issues that hopefully they will resolve as soon as possible, otherwise I'll ask for my deposit back and keep on looking for another.
