So am looking at getting a Yeti But also looking at a Caddy Now with the rear seats either flat or removed, it's like a high floor van (as in its higher off the ground than the caddy) The Caddy is an actual van, which is handy for some things less handy for others. The Yeti is handy for some things, less handy for others. Who has gone from a Caddy to Yeti? And the other way, Yeti to Caddy? (Looking at the 1.6 in both vehicles)

I have a spare set that need a refurb and tyres, but before doing that, do they suit the mk2?

The electric window switches have a few marks and lost some of the coating. Would a satin paint do as a touch up? Thinking rattle can into lid and use a few drops to fill in the marks.

Are the Fabia mk1 & mk2 console bush the same? And if so, are the Cupra bush still the go to bush?

Are the front calipers the same size on the Mk2 Fabia and the Mk2 Octavia? (Just looking on ebay and sellers saying same caliper fits both, but do they? Think the octavia is 312mm but don't know the size of the fabia, but think 288?)

So thinking of a bush refresh of the front suspension (I will be replacing the drop links, so thinking doing a few bushes at same time) Now I am thinking Powerflex for the anti-roll bar, top mount and lower engine mount, with the rest being OE. Its a 1.9tdi. My next question is, whats the size of the anti-roll bar on the 1.9?

So want to remove the sun visors, shades holder and interior lights. So can unscrew the sun visors but they still have clips in place, best way to remove without breaking said clips. (I was looking at removing the interior but that can wait till I find out if I have 2 weeks off etc) It's all part of cleaning it.

Thanks for all that, pity I can't just unclip it and leave it indoors to seal over night. Ahh well, might have a few weeks off coming up to do that anyway haha I have my Octy Estate for sale at the moment, and may just have a set of 17" spiders spare (estate comes with 16" as standard, so depends if it sells with the 16" or 17") I know they fit, but do they suit?

Just got this today (08 tdi) and it's not perfect, but given the price I didn't expect it to be. It's missing the owners hand book, was it a standard hand book or one for the Sport? With not having the hand book, how many litres does the fuel tank hold? What's the correct size tyre for it? (It has 4 different tyres (I know) which given time and money will be getting changed to matching but probably 2 at a time)) Did the Mk2 ever come with a cd multi changer? Under seat drawers, case of just trawling ebay? Or so rare its dealer only? The rather poor attempt at a rear diffuser, does it just clip off of the bumper or is it on for good? (If I could remove it, I could clean and seal it over night with no chance of rain) Bound to be more questions, but the above for now haha

Is the wiring loom already set up for heated seats as standard? Or do you need to get a heated seat loom and connect it up? (Just looking at options, going from non-heated to heated for instance)

Well that's a surprise.

Anyone got an idea of what gauge the wire is? It's so can get hold of a repair plug.
