  1. I've just recently gone through the exact same situation as yourself. Had my car mapped while removing the codes for the sai. I did some research and just went with some NGK equivalent standard coils that I ordered from autodoc. And got some ngk iridium versions of the standard plugs NGKIFR6Q-G that I ordered through euro car parts about £5 each if I remember correctly. I've been told you don't gap iridium plugs as it will damage the tips and defeat the point of fitting them in the first place, also your car is only having a "stage 1" as it's called map so no need to mess with the plugs, they come from NGK already to the correct spec.
  2. I'm Interested to know how this lasted, any transfer onto clothes, how does it look now? Thanks.
  3. Thanks, I ended up getting one for £26 from autodoc, should be here in a day or two.
  4. Nice work on the car, enjoyed reading through your posts. I know it was last year but do you have any info on where I can get one of these exhaust mounts as mine is rattling it head off. Edit* sorry, I've just re read your post and it's says it was supplied and fitted by a garage, will carry on my search thanks haha.
  5. I'm looking at getting into this to go over my own car and be able to do it on future cars too. Very detailed guide so can't wait to get the gear and get started.
  6. Hi guys, I had a fabia 1.6tdi Monte Carlo a few years back, currently have a Audi but I am looking at replacing it with a Skoda Octavia vrs. Just thought I would pop in and say hello as I will hopefully be making some more postsin other sections of the forum in the not to distant future. Ben
