  1. So I queried the update I had and have been told my order hasn't even been accepted and is in a queue. Also my garage hasn't had an Enyaq delivered in a while plus it's the model with the worst delay! I'm doubting I'll get it before summer.
  2. I had a simple update today from my dealer via email, build date still TBC unfortunately. Ordered an 80 suite early Oct.
  3. Hi, ordered an 80 on October 10th, was told 19 weeks but recently expected delays from the Christmas shutdown and chip shortage. I've still not been given a build week though so no ETA for me. Hoping we'll get some good news through soon.
  4. The creaking sounded as though it was coming through the steering column rather than the tyres. It was really loud the other day when I pulled off the drive. However I've not had it for a couple of weeks now and typically it didn't happen at the service either. I'll update if I hear it again.
  5. Thanks for the info, due for first years service soon, so I'll tell them to add this to the job sheet.
  6. Has anyone had a creaking noise from their steering? My Karoq, a year old next month, has just started doing this. It's mostly when turning to almost full lock stationary but I also heard it when turning into a tight junction. I can hear it when parked and turning the steering left and right.
  7. I haven't got any issues with my 1.5 Edition. Build week was 12, received beginning of April. The only thing I could complain about is the naff first gear which needs more acceleration than my previous car but not had any kangerooing at all. Also nigh on impossible to accelerate from standing in second gear, most likely stalling it. Pretty much love the drive though, great gadgets, and really comfy seats, better than even the old XC90. And it's fairly nippy in town.
  8. I use it occasionally to check the mpg, to see if I forgot to lock the car or closed the windows, and have also used the alert functions for when I left the car with a valet once. The latter is very useful if you want to know when the car is taken out of a specific area or goes over a certain speed. I'll definitely be renewing the yearly sub for it next year.
  9. I had a rattle a while ago but it kind of sounded a bit like rain which was really odd as it wasn't raining! In the end I opened and closed the air vent to the right of the steering wheel and the rattle went. Really don't know what it was.
  10. I hated the Amundsen in my Octavia III as it did similar things, however it was much better after I turned off the automatic re-routing function. Recently used the Columbus for a 1600 mile round trip to Italy and it was flawless (again I turned off the auto re-routing function)

    MPG

At the weekend I returned from a trip to Italy, covered over 1600 miles with going and return trips broken with an overnight stop in France. Have a 1.5 Edition., and filled up with super unleaded each time. Overall cost for fuel was around £450 and it wasn't any cheaper than the UK this time. I'm really dissapointed with the MPG the Connect app is giving me. The highest I had was 37.9 (mostly with a lower speed in the alps and Italy), but overall it's been below 35mpg. I had cruise control on, set at slightly over 80mph most of the way using motorways which were completely clear. Drive mode was normal, car loaded with full boot and 2 kids plus my wife. I guess the car performs better at 70mph or maybe the cruise control wasn't that efficient. Also getting around 27mph with the daily school run.
  12. Has anyone removed the gunk and padding from below the boot floor thereby lowering the floor further, then got a generic spare wheel kit (to fit the Karoq like this one https://www.thewheelshop.co.uk/skoda-karoq-18-space-saver-spare-wheel-lifting-jack-and-wheel-brace.html) and strapped it to the side of the boot? Seems like another way to go and gaining boot height.
  13. I received my Edition prior to this issue arising and I haven't been asked to take it back in to the garage. I would have thought there would have to be an official recall though. But I'm not loosing the functionality I paid for so I won't be going voluntarily.
  14. I had the same emails Karman. Don't know what that's all about, perhaps a glitch, but my connect is working as it was too.

I had the same issue, until I realised that holding the handle actually unlocks it so the car was getting confused as to whether I wanted to disable keyless entry by pressing the indentation or unlock the car with the handle.
