  1. Finally we have solution - Skoda is producing cars for south countries. So, let's move to Africa with our Superbs and noise problem would be solved
  2. My dealer, since already January, is every time repeating "it's not a safety issue" as factory is giving this notice every time when dealer is in contact with them. I am not interested in hearing this message from factory at all, as my problem is constant rattle noise which is making me crazy. Driving with this new car makes me feel like I am driving with a horse old carts... Shame Skoda, shame!!!
  3. Thanks for update and info. I really hope that the solution will be soon...!!! Today I talked to my dealer and chief of dealer's service and he told me that they are waiting for the official publication of "technical solution" in the Skoda factory system that could happen in the "nearest future" (some weeks or so). Waiting, waiting, waiting...
  4. Exactly! Skoda is Skoda and nothing else. When I bought this Skoda Superb I thought that Skoda will be improved in terms of tehnical (i.e. suspension) aspects, etc. But, in reality it is the same;(
  5. In latvian we have such an expression: "you cannot jump over your navel!" The same with Skoda. Unfortunatelly:(
  6. In latvian we have such an expression: "you cannot jump over your navel!" The same with Skoda. Unfortunatelly:(
  7. Does anybody in this thread have some news from your dealer's about the solution for rattle problem? Or, we all are being silently waiting when the "king" Skoda will do something...
  8. I would suggest that you surely inform the dealer, let Skoda factory knows and is aware that this rattle problem is expanding...
  9. Yesterday my car was in dealer's service again. They performed detailed inspection checking all rear suspension parts that could cause this stupid rattle in the rear part. The conclusion was and is that the rattle is in wishbone bushes (bonded rubber bush) that makes this noise when driving on bumpy roads or cobblestone roads on low speed. When I visited service last time before yesterday (I wrote about that in my previous posts) they replaced the bushes just to new ones (and not to the new designed bushes). Skoda factory has not designed and manufactured new bushes so far which would avoid the rattle sound!!! I suggest that we all having this problem do not only exchange our feelings and thoughts here in forum, but insistently urge Skoda factory (through our dealers as they are the only possible link between us (clients) and factory) to do everything to solve this problem promptly and immediately. Dear Skoda factory, I am quit sure, that you are aware of this forum. Please, be so kind and do finally what is necessary to solve this problem. I am overwhelmingly disappointed with this situation what I am experiencing with my car (“simply clever”…) already 4 months!!!
  10. Skoda factory is trying to find solution already since the beginning of January when it recognised the problem (that's what my dealer is saying). That's already almost 3 months... It is rediclious, isn't it.
  11. Czexpat, Skoda factory hasn't found the solution yet. 2 month ago factory said that this rattle could be caused by faulty wishbone bushes. Last week these bushes were replaced to my car. But no result and solution. Even worse... Tommorow I will visit my dealer's service again. Will update forum on the results.
  12. Yes, this rattle noise is coming only from rear. The sound is coming from some suspension component.
  13. Thanks SuperbMan71. In my post No50 I just tried to described the situation in Latvia and how my dealer is trying to solve this problem. However, I am surprised that your dealer is telling you that factory is still trying to find a fix for that as the factory was confident that solution would be replacement of wishbone bushes. At least my dealer was telling me this until 15th of March when they received these new bushes and replaced on my car. However, the result and solution is zero. No change, even worse. Was your dealer not mentioning that the solution would be replacement of bushes? I can also confirm the phenomenon that when weather was becoming a bit warmer, rattling noise almost disappeared and appeared only rarely when driving over small bumps. However now, after 15th of March when the new bushes were installed on my car I can hear again rattle noise very often.
  14. The rattle sound in rear suspension is not only the problem with L&K combi cars. I have Superb Sedan Style 2.0 TSI (and not L&K) with DCC and the rattle exists in this modication as well. As I said in one of previous posts as insistently and consistently we all will make complaints to our dealers ar soon Skoda factory will finally find the real reason and solution for this problem.
  15. 1. I refer to part No 3Q0505541, because this part No was written in service order what was given to me yesterday. Here is link where can find snap shot from the document. It's in latvian, but on the 3rd line is the No of the part https://failiem.lv/u/m96cmahz. And yes, my dealer said that Skoda Superb is buit on the same platform as new Passat - MQB. Therefore similarities shall be. Honestly speaking I haven't heard any complaints from Passat owners as well... 2. I can not really answer to your question, but when on January my dealer informed me that Skoda factory had recognized the problem, they insisted that these bushes are causing the rattling noise. In reality, since yesterday there is proof that bushes are not faulty. 3. When I asked my dealer some month ago similar question - Does Skoda stopped the production of this Superb model with DCC, the answer was - No. Skoda factory is continuing production and if there will be some complaints from some owners, they will change the part - bushes. I can 100% agree with you, that there is something really strange in this case as I am already fighting and dealing with this problem for 4!!! months. And one more strange aspect is that my dealer is saying that I am the only one owner in Latvia who is having such a problem, although they have sold several other Superb cars with the same modification and specification as I have. No complaints from other owners so far.
  16. That's what I was trying to say in my post No45: 1. Yes - Skoda factory is aware of the problem (in my case already since 2nd week of January) 2. Yes - Skoda factory clasified this defect as problems with rear wishbone bushes 3. Yes - Skoda factory has designed and elaborated new rear wishbone bushes (in my case these bushes were replaced on 15th of March) 4. No - this is not the solution as clattering and rattling noise is still there Therefore, I would suggest that we all having this problem push hardly our dealers, let they communicate more insistantly with the factory and finally find the real solution.
  17. Today dealer contacted me and invited to visit service as they had received new design wishbone bushes from factory. Of course, I visited service immediately and today they changed these bushes. According to the specification the part No is 3Q0505541. I checked this part in internet: http://etka.cc/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/RDW/modell/PA/year/2015/drive_standart/793/hg_ug/505/subcategory/505005/part_id/3723238#sec_3. Service did also test drive and for deep disatisfaction no any change - the annoying clattering and rattling noise is still there in the rear suspension. The problem is not solved with the change of the bushes. Next week on wednesday I will visit service again. They promised to perform detailed examination. Service said that they will take off stabilization rod and then test the car on the road. If this will not give any positive result, the next possible examination is shock absorber. Maybe somebody of you already find the solution?
  18. Guys, from my recent experience with my dealer (as I visited them for 7!!! times since I bought the car in November last year and since they, together with Skoda factory recognised the sound in middle January) I would say that this dreadful rattling sound in the rear suspension may occour not only with DCC cars. This sound is caused by defected and faulty bushes. Still waiting for the phone call and invitation from my dealer to change these f...ing bushes to the new ones. Keep you updated as soon as will get some result.
  19. Good news! I hope very much at least...! Just received information from my dealier that Skoda factory has manufactured new bushes that would hopefully solve the problem with the rattle in the rear suspension. Delivery would be on the 2nd or 3rd week of March. Awaiting very much!
  20. Has anybody received so far some news or positive solution from dealers concerning the rattle noise in the rear suspension? Mine dealer yesterday (15th Feabruary) said to me that skoda factory is still working on the solution. Maybe it is possible somehow to contact directly the skoda factory. Has anybody tried to do so? I am already completely exausted with this problem as I am waiting for the soluton already for 5 weeks...
  21. In order to solve this our common problem I think that we all have to make serious complaints to our dealers, let they continuously make contacts with the factory in order to have new design and no rattle bushes. This is Skoda premium class car and even more - new car, therefore such an "old car" noises shoud't be at all!!!
  22. I am from Latvia and bought Superb III with DCC november, 2015. Already since the first week I have noticed this strange rattle sound from rear suspension. I visited my dealer several times in november, december and finally on 13th of january my dealer gave me the answer that factory is aware of this defect. I am not quite sure about the right name in english for this particular part, but it is something like lao at #19 wrote - wishbone bushing. Dealer said to me that factory is designing new bush. So I am waiting the solution for this problem already 4 weeks. I'll give feedback to you when this problem will be solved.
  23. I have the same noise on my Skoda Superb III. Just bought 1 month ago (I am from Latvia). I have been already several times to my dealer and they said that it is normal sound when first starting cold engine. Honestly speaking I doubt. There shouldn't be any strange sounds in the new car. Maybe somebody resolved this problem?!
