Our one is 3 years old and 60,000 trouble free miles so far. Got a 4 year warranty as I was a bit wary of the 3 cylinder but it has been great. Just change the oil every 10k for piece of mind.

Just noticed Amazon had 2 x 10l with a filler hose for £16 delivered. Was thinking about getting it as adblue is supposed to last 18 months.

You can buy bonnet bras or some companies will fit the clear plastic film to protect the front end. It’s called ppf (paint protection film).

Probably need to go to the dealer and it will be pricey.

And then you go to the US and the gallon is different again!!

Thanks. I got a headlight from eBay but that one you linked is a good price. I managed to find a good used one for £115. Just waiting for another quote to replace the wing, so far I have been quoted £500 and £800!! Just a bloody bolt on job!

Hopefully someone will manage to help with my query. This weekend our fabia was damaged when one of the kids hit a deer. Luckily it's not too bad but we need a front headlight (drivers side) and a new wing. Any idea the best place to get them and the cost. I have seen some headlights on eBay for around £200 and no idea about the wing. i will replace the headlight myself but will probably need to get someone to fit the wing! The headlight has the led running lights.

The 1.0tsi certainly doesn't go like a rocket but performance is adequate. If she want more power, you might try a polo gti. Golf is bigger and aligned with the A3. Really depends what she is using it for. Our Fabia 1.0tsi is great for pottering about, the daily commute and we do take it on the motorway but if I am going for a run, I prefer the S3 but that isn't a fair comparison. The Fabia is comfortable and brilliant at what it does (ours is a manual as the kids were learning to drive and they use it too).

July 2017 Fabia 1.0 tsi 110 SEL manual. Red with black colour concept city brake thing and parking sensors. Got it the middle of July and now almost 5000 miles.

I used my hp washer before fitting them with no issues. The worst bit was trying to find the holes which are sealed over. I am also going to fit some noise reducing matting but will probably only do the boot area and rear arches as there is nothing there as standard.

To turn off the climate control, turn the fan button all the way down and it switches off. Umbrella under the passenger seat. Start / stop button to switch it off is on the right hand side near the lights The fog lights switch on by pulling the light control.

Also bear in mind that if you are applying for a mortgage soon, a PCP or HP application will show on your credit report.

This is an SEL but only electric front windows!!

It's a hatch although the picture above makes it look longer. Plenty space in the rear seats too.

I think it probably is the apple play. I didn't order sat nav as it's overpriced. The google maps integration is good and the voice directions come through the speakers. I was going to get a new tomtom but, for what the car will be used for, the Google maps will be fine. there doesn't seem to be an off button for the A/C but I just turned down the fan. i was unsure about the touchscreen but it is good.

Collected the car yesterday. Long drive home as it's the start of the English school holidays. Very start stop traffic and a lot of 50 mph sections and some traffic jams. Cleared up once I hit the M74. Already got 600 miles on the clock and very happy with the car. The engine is very responsive, quiet and economical. Filled up the tank when I got to Aberdeen and worked out at 54mpg. Hopefully get 60 once it's run in. That takes care of most of the running in period so can start using it a bit more over the next few weeks. Good bits; comfortable, quiet, easy phone connection, Apple play is good. Frustrating bits; no one touch for windows, going between radio stations is a faff ( but there might be an easier way), you can't use google maps and stream music at the same time. Minot issues. No pictures as the weather has been miserable all day here. Will try and get some up soon.

The dealer sent through a form for me to sign so they could register it. It also gave the licence plate (although this has a p after it which presumably means provisional?). This allowed me to get the insurance sorted out as well.

Our dealer has been in touch and told us it should be with them this week. I'm hoping to pick it up by the 15th July but no idea how long the PDI will take.

I have just ordered the same car. Went for red with black colour concept, front and rear sensors, spare wheel, 4th year warranty and 2 services. same thinking as you on the SEL instead of SE. Bit nervous with the new engine but it has been used in the polo for a while and the extra year warranty gives peace of mind. Got an extra £700 discount as well.

I use the Dr. Leather wipes and they are great. One car has lunar silver seats and I applied dye blocker when new and then use the wipes every month or so.

Wheel inner arches are good-you notice the difference in noise. Internal light is also good.

Could always add the fog lights as an upgrade!
