  1. Bit late to the party… but these do fit to a mk2 pfl using a flat blade screw driver you can pop the led unit out of the Fabia lights. Repeat this on a pfl fog lamp unit, pop the led inside the pfl fog lamp glass. Follow the instructions for fitting a 3 pin plug in place of the 2 pin and hey presto. (Yes I forgot to take photos of the build 🤦‍♂️)
  2. So I currently have a standard steering wheel fitted to my pre-fl octavia, I have recently upgraded to the Columbus unit and will be fitting a maxi dot cluster to the vehicle in the next week or two and cruise control was already part the car, I am looking at upgrading to a MFSW, what are my options? I quite fancy the Clio Wheel as it still has the VRS logo on the wheel (http://skoda.edgering.org/predni-naprava-rizeni/volanty/mf-volant-octavia-iii-rs-cervena-nit.html#prettyPhoto) Has anyone fitted this wheel to a pre-fl and other than the obvious controller upgrade, mfsw wiring and airbag what else is required.
  3. Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I would like one for a pre-fl mk2, or if they are not being produced the part numbers and I can assemble in works electrical bay.
  4. Thanks for those suggestions stuart I only have a handheld autel scanner which didn't seem to show anything, I need to invest in a proper version of VagCom. I had a little play will pulling fuses and also disconnected the bulbs while the key was removed the indication was still on the dashboard. My plan is to get under the dashboard next week (work permitting) and had a look around, I'm hoping its not something with the live fuse box behind the glove box
  5. Got a bit of a problem with the mk2 VRS (Pre FL)... It's causing my battery to drain slowly so this morning I now have a flat battery. I have noticed that my full beam indicator comes on once I turn the car off and remove the keys. I have double checked light switch positions and even pushed and pulled at the full beam stalk and that still doesn't turn of the dashboard indication off, also to make things more complicated the fault comes and goes. There is no problems with the actual lights as they operate in the correct sequence the dashboard indications work correctly with the Ignition or engine on. The bulbs fitted are Phillips h1 bulbs not an aftermarket HID kit. Any Ideas on where to start looking for the fault will be appreciated
  6. Evening All Just thought I would finally register on here after popping by now and again after using google. So after the tragic loss of a Leon Cupra (180 auq) I inherited a Red Octavia II VRS  Pic 1 Pic 2
