  1. Push the middle switch to 'on' which will expose a little lip on the housing, then just pull downwards from there Short YouTube video (me!)
  2. My S20+ works fine with my Android Auto, my older S9 could be hit and miss with connecting first time round but no problems with S20+ so far. Others experiences may differ but there has to be some rhyme or reason to it 🤣
  3. @CookieMonster87 I had this with the dealership I used prior to them going bust. They did that on all 4 wheels, 1 wheel wasn't too bad but 3 were through the lacquer. I took it back the same day and they held their hands up. Replaced 3 wheels. Your car should come back the same as when it went it, at least cosmetically. Its a lazy way of removing the caps and instead the wheel should be removed. Call it laziness, incompetence or just untrustworthy, either way you need your wheels sorted at their cost. In my case they looked at who had done the job and knew straight away that there was no argument. It was the last in a string of offences apparently.
  4. @TheWandererIf you can get into Skoda UK customer services ribs they will give you something, wont make anything right but it will be some kind of gesture. When a local dealer wasted my time Skoda UK paid for a service for the wife's car and gave me some cash back to cover the fuel and 'courtesy car.
  5. Will be interestingvto hear what they have to say, or if they even reply at all. We were dealing with a 3 week+ turn around on emails and 1hr wait on the phone when trying to end one of our PCP deals at the beginning, middle and end of April. Still not heard back about a complaint made at the time some six weeks since it was made. I genuinely hope you can find some peace either with this car or without it. My fuel pump issue combined with whats went in the last few months with skoda has me looking for a VT at the earliest opportunity. Heres hoping for the best 👍
  6. TL:DR - fuel pump (suspected) making large droning noise at a standstill, is this normal? Long version... Hi! My 2019 VRS TSI has always had a drone at a standstill, until now Ive been thinking it was some.sort of auxillary cooling system for the turbo or some such. Ive been getting more and more suspicious of the fuel pump until someone mentioned theirs on a facebook group today! So when I got home and parked up, with my foot on the brake (DSG) I can hear this very inrusive droning mechnaical noise. Sounds like the aircon fans are bad or similar to bad tyres on a rough road. Its not 100% constant it kind of oscillates a bit. If I let the DSG engage and start to move it stops straight away, although I have noticed it at low speeds some times. I put the car in P, disabled start stop and got in the back of the car. I noticed straight away that the rear bench seat was vibrating. Putting my ear to it I can hear the noise much clearer. Today I have 80 miles ramge left so the tank is quite low. I dont know anything about these fuel pumps, if they are submerged in the tank or whatever. This does seem an unusual noise. My previous MY16 didnt do it and neither have any of my other cars for the last 20 years! The nearest dealer is now 45 miles away and I'd need to take time off to get it there, plus likely pay a diagnostic fee ao I'm hoping someone can ahed some light on this for me? I may be able to record it but might have trouble isolating the noise. I could perhaps get the bench seat out at the weekend if anyone has any tips? So yeah, does anyone else have a really loud droning noise when stationary (mother in laws etc discounted)? Are the fuel pumps known to be noisy?? Any help gratefully received!!! Car is a MY19 VRS Petrol 245 DSG (GPF) with 4k miles on it for reference!
  7. Hi all! I've seen a website mentioned a few times that allows you to see any TSBs that are applicable to your vehicle. It's a paid for service and users have stated it's a few euros for a limited time access. I can't remember it and I can't find it in the search function, can anyone please put me out of my misery?
