Just collected new Karoq 1.5 TSi SEL today, it replaced a 1.0 TSi SE Karoq. Heated steering wheel great, ( I am in my seventies and have circulation problems,} heated windscreen brilliant. Instrument display AWFUL compared to my 69 reg Karoq.

How about " Faulty electronic handbrake" followed by " Hill hold assist unavailable" and the yellow warning light appearing in central display. Engine switched off, restart and fault is cleared. Skoda dealer has checked the car and said it had had a sporadic fault logged in the computer. Been ok now for past two weeks. Let's see if it happens again, still got warranty so not too bothered.

Similar experience, long term average must have reset after around 100hrs driving, anyways, delighted with the car, gives 37mpg, or more, in city use and the best I have had on a run has been 56.5 on the maxidot. Have run diesels since 1999 but decided to go for a petrol this time round and the car purchase was a bit of a no brainer, a used 13 plate 1.4tsi 140bhpElegance spec in race blue from main dealer and genuine 12500 miles with service history and warranty.

New Octavia, why the revs?
jpatersona replied to SoupDragon's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Like you I find that reflection in drivers side mirror extremely annoying. Have tried a temporary fix of a strip of black gaffa tape over the brightwork and that more or less eliminates it. Will be masking off the brightwork with masking tape and painting matt black with model paint using artist's brush. This is a really stupid design fault by Skoda.
