  1. edited the post - and clocked the rules - thank you
  2. Hi there, hoping someone on here will put this motor to good use. It has been stood for about 5 months and I have let the mot lapse. Tried starting it but the starter motor has died - the copper wiring on the top has perished. It was working fine prior to it being stood, well after I had replaced a suspension arm. It is being stored on my Mother in laws farm in High Legh, Cheshire approx 5 minutes from Junction 20 of the M6. I really don't want to scrap this wolf in sheeps clothing and the engine and the interior has plenty of life left in her. I think it will be a fairly simple bit of work, however I have three other vehicles and have just bought a caravan so my storage quota is on the verge of getting me kicked out of the family. Speed is of the essence here so any sensible offer around £200 and a commitment to collect very soon gets you the motor. It has a great interior, there are a couple of marks commensurate with its age and a rust spot coming through, but if you want it for the work horse it is or just for the vag engine alone its worth a punt. Has 6 cd changer and alloys. Buyer collects - you will need a trailer - it is a non runner and a 4x4, but we have a manitou to lift it onto a trailer. Thanks for looking and very best wishes
  3. Thanks for the bump and the information folks - they look identical ! All the very best wishes

  7. Hi there, long story short. Rear drivers side suspension arm snapped at hub. Can anyone advise if it is the same as the arm above it as they seem to be the same - found them on ebay but they keep being referred to as the upper arm - but can't find a lower one for love nor money. Photos here here here Any help would be very much appreciated. Cheers Simon
